1 Weird New FB Problem. Marketers Furious. Traffic Missing.
Just launched a winning ad on a big account. I've got the bid maxed out, but so far, I've only received 1,236 IMP. However, the frequency rate is a radically high 3.1.
Any thoughts on why this is? How can I get more traffic?
FYI, I'm in the 36-37 demo.

It's almost end of the year..
big brands might be buying up most of the inventory...

Not quite sure what you mean here... Maxed bid = ?? Frequency of 3.1 is not abnormal at all, I see the same ads multiple times every time I log on to FB. Budget? How many duplicate ads do you have in the campaign? Have you made dupes? What is your estimated audience?
Winning ad on a big account implies its a tested performer and is running on an account with a high volume history... but your other information leaves a lot unknown.

you're bidding on 36-37... it's not a surprise to see a 3.1 freq rate.. and yeah.. what do you mean by max out? If you can share your bid and the country you're on i'm sure some of us here can tell you whether if it's "high" enough.

THIS. Good luck getting any inventory unless you are bidding silly amounts at the moment.

I can only speak for the dating verticle.
Your targeting imo is so tiny. i would never target a demo less than 100K, usually over 1M minimum on the bigger countries.
What do you mean max bid? (there is no max bid that i know of)
Is this the highest bid you can afford and still be profitable?
We need more information to help you & but from what we can see. You need a larger demo most likely.
