cPanel VPS

I have a cpanel VPS with WiredTree (VPS1000). I noticed that they also offer Lightspeed HTTP web server for the VPS. As I am sending more traffic lately I am wondering, is Lightspeed the better web server and would I see a gain in server performance by making the switch at all?

What's your experience with Lightspeed and cpanel?

split test among 2 hosts, beyondhosting and wiredtree, if either one slow, drop it

You'll definitely see an improvement when switching to LS - Apache is a memory whoring dinosaur!
