CPVlab freelancer?

Hi Guys,

I'm looking for someone that I can pay on a hourly basis to respond to my CPVlab questions.
CPVlab support is really getting on my nerves, I need to get things moving and stop exchanging 25 emails to get an answer.

So if you have someone to recommend don't hesitate!

Thanks

Why don't you post your questions directly in this thread?

Hi,

I want to start using postback URLs.

I got one URL for my landing page that I use with the advertising network.
On my landing page I put the campaigns links from CPVlab
I got the postback url which is ok and has been inserted within the aff. network.

But the advertising network tells me that I need to pass a value from the URL I gave them.

I just don't know what should I do with my landing page to handle the value from the advertising network as I guess just adding a variable to the url won't work.

I hope it all makes sense, thanks for your help.

You need URL append token, something like: &keyword=%KEYWORD% (this is for LI, im not sure what your traffic source is)
so your campaign URL will look like:
xxxxxxxxxx/base.php?c=11&key=099e1d13998b7ef4fef560530a67a571 &keyword=%KEYWORD%

and not:
xxxxxxxxxx/base.php?c=11&key=099e1d13998b7ef4fef560530a67a571

Thanks for your help as this is really driving me nuts (CPVlab support is really useless, I'm sorry to say that but it's a shame imo)

What I don't understand is that my advertising network is really insisting on the fact that the URL of my landing page contains something like &cid=

Am I ok in adding this &cid= to my url without having to add any code on the page itself? If that's the case I guess I'll be able to use something like xxxxxxxxxx/base.php?c=11&key=099e1d13998b7ef4fef560530a67a571 &cid=%KEYWORD% ?

Thanks again for your patience...

&cid= goes on the end of your Offer URL

You need URL append token. This field is usually filled automatically on CPV Lab when you pick Predefined Source. Whats your traffic source?

Hi,

I can't reveal my traffic source, it's a direct deal with an advertiser, as they need to track the number of conversions on their end too they asked me to pass their variable to the aff. network and to send it back via the postback url.

I'm really getting desperate here, I've approached some php developpers but they just don't understand at all the concept of CPVlab, postback URLs networks etc.. that's why I was hoping that someone could share with me contact details of someone who is used to do that. I understand technical concepts and I don't mind editing code myself if it's not too complicated but I guess it's not the best use of my time.

And I don't know your personnal experience but CPVlab's support is such a terrible experience that I'm seriously looking for other alternatives as well.

Put this in URL append token: &keyword=
see if it helps

With postback you have to pass back a varaible like a subid so say your link is "http://google.com/?s1=CPVLABSUBID" and then in the network you would put your postback url there and put it like this "http://cpvlabpostbackurl.com/?s1=" and after the equals sign you would put in the networks varaible to pass the s

Ok thanks guys.
Finally CPVlab support did everything they could to solve this issue, after all the frustration I'm grateful that they could sort it out.

Thanks as well to you guys who helped me with that.

@delaforet: CPVlab support doesn't suck. i always get a reply within couple hours, and, i've also requested Rob from CPVlab to do a call with me and get a technical problem sorted out personally. He's super helpful. Besides, he even gave me some ideas about some campaigns they're running (They're also aff marketers at large scale)..
