Where do you hire copywriters?

Hey guys,

We speak a lot about how to improve our own copywriting skills. But honestly, I don't see myself capable of developing to the level of a native speaker with years of experience. I would much rather hire/test a few copywriters and compare the results/price.

Can somebody recommend a reputable copywriter with decent results? Surely not all of you write your own sales texts?!

I would very much appreciate it. Thanks

I'm also looking for great copywriters that can do those long sales scripts you see on those 6+ minute videos. If anyone has a referral, I'll be needing a lot of copy done in the next couple of months and would send over a cut if it works out.

Speaking personally, I do write my own copy - I'm a multiply-published author with more than a few years in this game, so words aren't a huge problem. (Pictures, though - those are trickier )

However, if you want good-but-pricey options, I've heard very good things about www.menwithpens.ca - and their newsletter certainly shows they know their stuff.

Add scott.murdaugh in skype.

His price is not cheap and i'm not sure if he has time for doing this, but you can always try.

He wrote salespages/squeezepages/headline/funnels for my products/memberships, and we really got insane conversionrates that i have never seen before. (40%+ opt-in CR on squeezepages, 18% CR on a $200/month product, etc)

Depends what type of budget you're working with

If low level, i.e $100 - $500, hire a writer who has plenty of experience writing storys rather than 'copywriting experience'... You're not going to get a top class copywriter for this price, but you can get a good storywriter... I've used oDesk in the past but I found an AWESOME writer via Craigslist who'd probably never heard of oDesk/eLance, just put out an ad on there. Storytelling is key (make one up or ask them to make one up) and if you nail that you can work in more conversion/persuasion aspects yourself and convert great.

If you want specific writers of most of the 'big hit' CB offers then here's some names... you should be able to find them via Google or FB, or if anyone wants an intro or can't find their info let me know (I've worked with most of them):

* Daniel Scott (great writer, charges $3-5k making him the cheapest writer on this list, but has wrote a few CB #1's including one of mine)
* Chris Haddad (AWESOME. expensive though, $10k minimum. behind some of the biggest offers like txt your ex back)
* Vin Montello (used to be awesome but now he uses ghostwriters most of the time [including Daniel Scott above] and then tweaks it a bit himself at the end. Still a good option but expensive, $7-10k)
* Mike Williams (great writer, but expensive, behind probably the biggest CB offer of recent time... but I've heard he's a pain to work with)

These days I just take copy these guys have wrote for me, say 2-3 letters, and take chunks from each, rewrite bits and add in new hooks and shit. $10k copy might sound expensive but if it converts like crazy you can just keep reusing it provided you're not a total retard when it comes to writing.
