ADULT! Paying $1CPM and Still Making Money???

I have a question for those who does ADULT. (adsforsex, untrue and etc).

I see affiliates who copied my rules LP( although redesigned the layout), paying $1 CPMs and running same offers as i do, how do they make a profit paying so much i don't get it. Any ideas please share.

I suppose they may have a higher payouts from the network they work with, but it cannot be twice as high, right? For me to make a profit i need to pay like $0.30 cpm.
I'm sure those affiliates are on this forum, i don't expect you to reveal your secrets, but any advice is appreciated

My guess is that you are running on TrafficJunkie...

I don't know this for a fact but I am 99% sure its TrafficJunkie running themselves. They don't really pay $1 CPM's but they keep themselves on the top artificially. No matter how high you bid you will be outbid in a few minutes.

I don't think anyone who is making it work at $1 CPM is going to come on here and tell you how they're doing it.

That said, the guys bidding these rates may very well be running internally (the dating company itself). I really wouldn't worry about it though and just keep the testing going until you can find your own things that work out.

Believe it or not, yes, i was the first one who used "rules lp". Because that was me who made up those rules.

Yes 100% they are bro, just have to look at how high direct payouts can go, over time with quality and volume,

Polarbacon mentioned it before, I think you'd be surprised at how high advertisers will go when you bring the quality

What about the banners they're using? I know from experience that banners can make the difference between getting 30+ leads or not. And that's what advertisers want, older signups and they're more than happy to pay big for those leads. In the Netherlands I was paying over $1 CPM on Traffic Junky and still profitable untill the advertiser decided to copy the campaign and running it with even higher CPM's.

One way to get good quality is placing 25+ on your banners, and your ads. I'm sure you've seen it out there,

FYI dating gold's offers (ads4sex, untrue, etc) are never run direct to pub - they have agreements with specific networks to run exclusive/non-exclusive offers.

You are saying you created the steps lps and can't profit at 0.30CPM?... Please. Get testing. Those things profit even at public payouts at 0.80CPM+ without much testing. Getting them to work at 1cpm is a bit harder but it can be done.

$1 CPM for US traffic is cheap! I pay $2-$3 CPM for US traffic...and it backs out well. Really depends where you buy.

I agree it's not impossible to be profitable at $1 CPM, just need higher CTRs and CVRs. I was running JHU awhile back paying those rates and make a lot of money. Course that was before they turned on their scrub to turbo.

Well, if it makes you feel any better, I truly applaud to your creativeness I think it's a really great play psychologically - though I'm not sure if I have seen your original lander because there's so many of those rules landers now floating.

Yah, they whitelabel and sell it exclusive to networks. Theres a few cool pages lying around, if you find the same offer on 2 networks, one is brokering from another
