Hope you can help with an issue I'm having with Google Display Network.
- My network suggested I run a certain offer that is converting well on GDN. They know of other affiliates direct linking to it and said there shouldn't be a problem.
- Using Adbeat I can see that the advertiser is doing big volume on GDN with the exact same LP that I am promoting so I know Google is ok with it.
- I created ads based on top performers on Adbeat and uploaded to GDN.
- I'm using the same display URL as the advertiser, using my tracking URL as the destination URL and direct linking to the offer
- Ads were disapproved almost immediately based on site policy (no specifics given – waiting for a response from Google support)
What is going wrong here?

I wouldnt direct link on Google ever. Also for a quick and simple explanation: Google is more lenient on high spend, long term advertiser accounts so they probably approved those guys over your account. I doubt they will approve you but you can always try.
Thanks for you're response vidivo - that makes sense. Do you think there is any way to promote this offer without cloaking?
On Adwords? Only other possible way is to collect emails and then email them the offer.
Thought as much....and from what I've read Google doesn't like landers with the sole purpose of collecting data so you have to make it look compliant
Another option is send it to a bridge page. Just make sure it has the necessary stuff like PP, TOS, Contact us, Some content and links to some other PLR content pages. Should be pretty easy. We buy direct to offer on a lot of stuff still on a google and don't have high spender accounts just FYI. As we segment every offer we run into a different account so they don't risk each other.

Yes you can direct link on google, without cloaking. Don't let people tell you its not possible. For some offers it's fine. And for those offers the bridge page will fuk you worse than direct.

May I know what kind of offers are still okay to be direct link with GDN? Also is the approval standard the same for GDN and Adwords (search traffic)?
If there is an existing affiliate with spend history running to page X. If you register and try to run to the identical page X, it will usually prompt a 2-3 business day "verification" step for "security or billing information". You will usually be suspended after this review as Adwords does not support dual-serving. Definitely create your own LP or bridge page. Direct linking on adwords never flies.
Smaxor pretty much laid out the adwords bare minimums for what you should be building out.
Also keep in mind that your landing page itself does not require all of these elements. However, your actual BASE DOMAIN does.
