TrafficVance Application Question (13)
I just applied to TrafficVance and I put my AM/network owner as my referral. After I applied I noticed it said that right now they're only accepting direct advertisers. It didn't say anything about affiliates. Also, I put affiliate offers as what I'd be running on my app and probably should have put affiliate network offers instead.
So anyways my question is: is this normal for TrafficVance and should I be fine with my referral? Or is this new and now they're actually only accepting direct advertisers?
I didn't put anything for comments. Should I shoot em an email with a few more referrals and info to make sure I don't have any problems? Would telling them I'm a member of this forum help?
I just don't want to have to deal with any crap on Monday regarding this so any tips would be awesome.

Unless you really screwed up your application, which it sounds like you didn't, the details of what's on it are far less important than the person who actually refers you. Your referrals need to come from someone who has a TrafficVance account and who is an active spender. And btw, more referrals does not equal a better chance. They need to fit the criteria that I mentioned.
Also, they will contact the person who you list as your referral. Essentially your referral needs to "vouch" for you and agrees to put their own account on the line if you end up doing something bad later on. Does your network owner or AM have a TrafficVance account? Also do they know that you put them as a referral? If the answer is yes to both questions then send TrafficVance an email with your referral's contact info. TV will contact your referral and get the ball rolling. Over the weekend I'd check in with your referrals and give them a heads up that TrafficVance will be contacting them, and make sure they know what's up. Good luck!
Why do you need referrals? If im down to drop thousands a week or daily even, wouldn't they want my business? Are they running something heenky to wheret they want to avoid a larger audience (resulting in more $$)??? I've been reading about how people should try LP and TV, but TV denied me as well.... Sucky imo.

I'm in the position to drop $$,$$$ / day, picked up the phone and spoke to JD from TV and they still keep ignoring me ... got recommendation from a network that I've done 6 figures with them in the past couple months, another referral who spent more than 100 K and they are like we don't care... They just say we don't accept Advertisers from your country ...

Wow that's shitty man which country are you living in?
that is very strange, normally a referral with a good spending should get you in.
It's very hard for some countries to get into TV, they don't want to take the risk.
Well I've made some progress with them since i don't really like to give up and i heard before they have decent traffic. Called JD from trafficvance again like 20 times xD and got couple more recommendations from 100 K + spenders and they're going to make an exception for me as JD said. Hopefully I'll get my account next week
