CPAtank payment problems?
Hi,
Does anyone else here on STM roll with CPAtank?
I've been pushing some of my traffic to them during two months time now, and I think they are starting to cut off on the payments now on a little scale.
I've received two rather big payments from them so far, but I'm still awaiting the third one (4 digit) which was supposed to go out on 18 October. (23 days late, lol)
Contacted Vito through Skype also, which isn't helping to much.
If your rolling with CPAtank at the moment, are you getting paid on time? Maybe your also experiencing payment issues? Let's unite.

One suggestion, your payment is late = you stop sending traffic and switch to another network.
Had this happen once in my career, got only excuses and promises and never heard back and in the end I never got paid, got stiffed for around $25 or $30k something like that, don't remember the 100% correct amount anymore as I received first payment but then after that never again.
If a network doesn't pay on time it's really not a good sign. And no matter how believable their excuse is, if payment is 1-2 days later than usual I stop sending traffic and go elsewhere until I got my money. (And then depending on the case switch back links or never work with them again)
PS: If you stay just because they have an offer others don't, go to your am on another network you know and have them get the offer for you... There should be no reason to keep sending traffic to a network that owes you money for a period longer than 2 days.

i think its about time we stop making excuses for networks not paying on time. it really should be a 1 strike deal.

Absolutely right, we affiliates are basically the lowest form of life, then end of the food chain. We take all the risk, we have to conform to everything the FTC says, the affiliate network says, the advertiser says
Yet we are the ones getting stiffed out of money regularly by shady networks and advertisers.
So we should not also let them kick us in the nuts by not paying us, and we say thank you and continue to send traffic to them. (No other business would do that, so why should we?)

Last time I checked they were brokering most of the offers from EWA.
If EWA doesn't pay them, they can't afford to pay.

Yeah, I fully agree with you. I'm tired of dealing with networks that make promises they can't hold for five cents.
But luckily, there are networks out there caring for their affiliates and understand the importance of managing tasks like payments on a serious level.

Yes, I suppose this may be the root of the problem.
But what really frustate me to max in this payment issue, is that the CEO of the network told me that the payment had been wired.
So I waited five bank days after that statement, and as I suspected the payment didn't show up.
He also mentioned that the network have more cash on hand than they need to make payouts so there will never be payment issues etc. I don't know what to believe to be honest.
I'll wait until the upcoming friday and see if the issue will be resolved. Will update the thread regarding the problem.
It's important for us affiliates to network about things like this in my opinion...

I disagree, we are not the lowest on the totem pole, these days any network who is not taking care of their pubs is not gonna last long, traffic is king and has always been if you don't believe me post one response on facebook group for green coffee traffic and see how many networks message you back with insane payment terms

Quoted for truth. Affiliates are traffic sources. I look at affiliate subids in my merchant account as site ids from a blind network. The only entity higher in the food chain are actual traffic sources.

I stopped sending any traffic to CPATank a few months ago but it was purely for personal reasons. My AM pissed me off and I decided that I didn't want to work with them
But, I got a couple emails from them about a week or two ago saying stuff like this:
Recently our affiliate ranks have more than quadrupled from our numbers last year while our staff has remained the same. This has caused our service to be less than the standard of excellence that made CPATank one of the strongest Affiliate Networks in the industry since 2009.
We gave everyone notice, everyone is going to get paid so we are all on good terms, and when we are ready to properly serve you we will reach out to you and I am sure I will be in the best position to earn your business and take it to the next level.
Please redirect your campaigns by Sunday at midnight. You will be paid for everything you send up to that point.
You will receive an Email when the maintenance is complete. Traffic sent after Sunday at midnight will probably not convert.
Basically, they said they would be closing down temporarily to restructure and add staff and then resume business at a later date. I don't know if they sent this to all of their affiliates or just some of them.
I didn't personally give it much thought since I don't use them but figured I would mention this to you in case you missed the emails or didn't get them.
There's plenty of good networks out there so there's no reason to stay with a network that isn't paying you.

Just check it up here: http://www.ilsos.gov/corporatellc/Co...eLlcController 'cpatank' ... Ryan Eagle seems to be the secretary according to the LLC lookup. This + the alltime EWA payment missings popping up weekly, well, what to say...

There is no real proof out there although it's not a secret that EWA and CPAtank are connected...so from this point of view it can be quite possible.
