My first proper campaign ever - Mobile Ringtones/Games - Jumptap - motime

Hello fellow Stackers!

Where I am now:
-I have $$700 Ad Spend budget for my first campaign
-I have $1500-2000 per month for total ad spend.
-I have around 4 hours a day of fully productive time I can spend on affiliate, and also at least 2-4 hours a day of less productive time - while at work.

My Goal#1 - make at least $1000 in profits before end of this year
My Goal #2 - make $2000 profits in a month before the end of Feb. 2013

I'm following AngryRussian's guide (btw - big thanks Russian! You're an inspiration and a good teacher)

Campaign #1

Goal for this campaign - learn as much as possible!

Offer: motime downloads - games/ringtones/etc
My demo: T-Mobile Android.

The lander looks like this:

First batch of ads to hit the wall and see what sticks:

The ads are awaiting approval, my budget for today is $100, and I'm very anxious to get some test results to analyze. I'm tracking using my aff network hasoffers system.

I have 3 ad groups for this angle - static, animated and text.

Targeting: everything from T-Mobile Android I can get on Jumptap.

My strategy is to start broad and find winning combinations.

Why do you have the "18+ girls only" on your banners?

You should delete your banners and start over, serious waste of money that will be

My guess is you did some research that said girls are the primary demographic for ringtones etc? If so, good thought, but execution not so much.
You will do better with banners that actually target a broad demographic... You want as many people as possible to click on your banners, not only 18+ "girlies".

PS: Don't focus too much on demographics and all that stuff, mobile success formula is:

cheap traffic + massive traffic + landing pages/good converting direct link = massive success

@Szmudo: Naah, no research, just messing around in photoshop with different ideas for attention grabbers. 18+ is just an attention grabber, I have another 4 different sets of banners in the kitchen know, soon to be served.

I'll test them anyway, all that photoshop time is worth a test.

My formula so far looks like this: expensive traffic (.20cpc) + no traffic + not converting lander = no nothin'

I guess my next step is find a cheap traffic source (any suggestions? inmobi?) and offers for that asian/african/eastern european country, right?

Ads still waiting for approval, in the meantime I'll explore opportunities for applying your formula.

Thanks for the feedback!
