So I just started using facebook for real...couple of questions

After getting banned within a week of originally trying to use facebook...I've since gotten another account and am trying it again. So far I have a profitable campaign going, and although my ads CTR started out high, they dropped to around .7 after more impressions. So I have a couple of questions:

1) I've been putting in 1 ad/image per campaign, but this takes a while to make campaigns and I don't think I'm testing enough images, should I just bulk upload a bunch of images/ads to 1 campaign instead?

2) When exactly can I raise my budget and lower my CPC? If my ad CTR drops, I don't think I should do either, right?

Any help/insight would be awesome!

Im still a noob but from experience if you bulk upload a bunch of ads to 1 campaign its very unlikely that they will al run, but instead 1-4 depending on your demo.

Btw you mean 0.07 right? 0.7 is mega :O

What I tend to do is start a campaign with Power Editor, create 5 copies of the same ad with different colour 2px borders. I fire the ads off and let them all generate 100 clicks each & cull from there. I always aim for 0.100+ CTR and go from there!

What's a good bid to start dating campaigns off at?

It really depends on the country, I always shoot for 60c to start & then lower from there by 4-7c every 100 clicks. Once I've found the bid floor I keep it there till the traffic dries up & then I run another creative.

So what I'm doing is targeting a niche dating offer, not using any keywords or anything though. My daily budget is $25 and there's no way I could get 100 clicks in one campaign unless the CTR is off the charts to start, should I increase my daily budget for initial testing?

Also, how many images do you usually test to start out to find one that garners a good CTR? What I've been doing is duplicating the same image/ad within 1 campaign 3 times. Then making a new campaign with 3 duplicates of a different image/ad. But I usually get to test 1 - 3 images a day like that, is this inefficient?

Edit: Oh, also only targeting females, what's a good CTR to expect out of them?

I'd scrap the idea of running 5 of the same image, am I right in thinking your running on a tight budget as it comes across this way?

If that's the case I'd run 2 campaigns with and assign 1 image per campaign with 5 different variations of border.

Camp 1 - Image 1
Red Border
Orange Border
Green Border
Pink Border
Black Border

Camp 1 - Image 2
Red Border
Orange Border
Green Border
Pink Border
Black Border

Shoot for 0.100+ CTR unless something else gets you cheap enough clicks for profit! I can't really advise you on cpc and there's too many variables and you'll have to experiment yourself.

The lowest price I can bid to get a decent traffic flow.
