atleast a 24 hour outclause, stating if for any reason, you can cancel the buy and get a full refund

Basically a 24 hours out clause can be used for them to refund you the remaining amount of money if they are not able to meet your goals or are sending crappy traffic.

Understood.
Isn't there anything else along the lines of a "even-clause"? Which generally stats the media company has to deliver an consistent amount of traffic throughout the days it is running?

All that stuff is covered in a insertion order (IO). You set all your parameters such as out clause, day parting, delivery options, demographic targeting and such in there.

Just make sure you go through the IO carefully and ask questions on anything not fully understood.

be sure to set all the terms, if you dont mention something, they will most likely get away with something they aren't supposed to, and they will just say you never mentioned it. (any specific detail)

I am not sure how experienced you are tickingaway, but if you are relatively new to media buys, you could maybe get a feel for what works on a sell-serve ad platform (e.g Sitescout) with low commitment levels?
