ROUND 2

VERY IMPORTANT NOTES

WANT TO JOIN?

Please note that affiliates must have at least 6 months of experience under their belts. We need to make sure all affiliates are at a similar level to make this work.

If you meet that criteria, post the following (please keep it short).
1. Location
2.. Time spent in AM
3. Campaigns created
4. In 1-2 sentences why you're a driven individual who would Thrive in a mastermind group & what do you have to offer (could be experience, maybe you work 18 hours a day, will investigate anything, expert in chinese traffic etc..)

5/30 spots are already taken.

The competition will start Early-Mid November. BE READY!

May the odds be ever in your favor!

1. Location: USA - PST Timezone
2. Time spent in AM: 7 months of experience.
3. Campaigns created: 100+ (Adult dating, Dating, Mobile)
4. In 1-2 sentences why you're a driven individual who would Thrive in a mastermind group & what do you have to offer (could be experience, maybe you work 18 hours a day, will investigate anything, expert in chinese traffic etc..):
I have been able to obtain repeated success in highly competitive niches while holding down a day job as a web analyst/software engineer. I devote almost all of my free time to AM as I am having a blast doing it and I have no problem exploring any niche as long as the money is green.

10-24-2012 11:08 PM #4 bstrd ()

Location: Hungary, EU.
Time Spent: 1,5 year
Campaigns: Around 150 (3 verticals)

Got a decent slice from the money cake and invested in to some offline stuff. Just opened a bar on the main street of my city, and an accounting firm. Currently got around 30+ employes (20 at the firm and 10+ at the bar.) Time for me to shift my focus again to affiliate marketing, build new campaigns, try out new verticals. My main vertical was financial related in the past (credit reports, loans) on PPV / media buys. Oh and drinks on me, if someone going to visit Hungary.

This is sick!

1. Location: Alberta, Canada - GMT

2. Time spent in AM: 3 months

3. Campaigns created: 11 (3 verticals)

4. In 1-2 sentences why you're a driven individual who would Thrive in a mastermind group & what do you have to offer (could be experience, maybe you work 18 hours a day, will investigate anything, expert in chinese traffic etc..): I've been putting in non-stop efforts over the last 3 months (24-36 hours straight has not been uncommon) to figure out the whole AM game, so I can offer serious grind as I'm almost always crafting in my home office. I come from success outside of the interwebz which allows me to work like I do and I've been profitable already - even seen highly profitable days already in my niche of choice and feel I could constructively add to a collective team through experience thus far, my comptetive spirit and willingness to learn!

In the words of President Snow: Welcome, and happy Hunger Games.

Countless campaigns done for clients when I had my local biz IM agency (full interactive camps - design/SEO/list building/brand development).

4. In 1-2 sentences why you're a driven individual who would Thrive in a mastermind group & what do you have to offer (could be experience, maybe you work 18 hours a day, will investigate anything, expert in chinese traffic etc..): Dear God I am sick as fuck - everything I touch online turns to gold (especially when it has to do with search traffic), learn quick, relentless implementer working up to 14 hour days easy, and just generally unstoppable (though not a cocky asshole about it). Also have experience as a partner in seminar/coaching company coaching people to step into their power and achieve kickass results in life/business - good communicator/motivator/strategist.

Dammit, this is one of the few times I hate not just being an affiliate. Are there rules against network managers playing? Can I buy a ticket to watch at least. This shit looks seriously fun!

1. Location: USA (Miami/Los Angeles)
2. Time spent in AM: 2 Years
3. Campaigns created: 500+ (Sweepstakes,Coreg, Dating, Downloads, Financials)
4. In 1-2 sentences why you're a driven individual who would Thrive in a mastermind group & what do you have to offer (could be experience, maybe you work 18 hours a day, will investigate anything, expert in chinese traffic etc..):

I've had enough success in AM to realize that I'm willing to scale my current $xxx/day campaigns to the next level; I'm tired of traffic sources that have limited traffic; and I'm tired of settling for less when I know I can push bigger numbers. I have a firm grasp of what it takes to succeed in AM and I'm ready to take this shit to the next level. One of my strong points is that I'm good at coming up with creative angles and making offers work on not so obvious traffic and demographics. I push things to the limits and then some, and now I'm eager to uncap my potential by moving to bigger traffic sources and by pushing offers on a larger scale to a broader audience. I'd be coming into this competition with a budget of $xx,xxx - ready to be scaleable to $xxx, xxx. I'm here 24/7 and ready to learn from my team members, contribute my ideas, and RUN IT HARD.

10-25-2012 03:09 AM #25 fran (Member)

1. Puerto Rico (EST time - America)
2. Been involved in the industry for around 2 years. Full time affiliate for around 2 months.
3. Give or take around 200 campaigns. Around 10-20 or those actually matter. Focusing on adult dating and mobile campaigns. Saw my first $XX,XXX month revenue last month. (from absolutely $0) I would be hard pressed to find a moment where I am any more motivated to grind away and make 1mill+ this next year.

4. WHY ME?

LOVE networking and BRAINSTORMING with smart people, make decisions and act upon them.
100% full time affiliate.
Love spending money testing new crazy promo methods to get data and see crazy ROIs.
Great at designing awesome converting landing pages (PSDs), and tweaking out basic HTML CSS coding.
I SPEAK BOTH SPANISH AND ENGLISH FLUENTLY.
Live in a beautiful island
Sometimes forget to eat something to stay alive when grinding and launching profitable campaigns all day.

1. Location: USA - PST Timezone
2. Time spent in AM: 1 yr (IM: 3 yrs SEO: 2yrs)
3. Campaigns created: 50 campaigns for various AM offers and clickbank products
4. Will test anything and no day job other than IM/AM tasks. Online from am - evening pst. Currently my day to day is AM, campaign building/optimizing in cpvlab running offers from multiple networks. $1k in funds for testing agreed upon by the group. open availability and motivated to try new techniques and work/learn with others.

10-25-2012 03:30 AM #27 joshtodd ()

1. USA (Denver, CO)

2. 4 years

3. Hundreds. PPV and FB apps mainly. Niches included credit report, premium SMS / iq quiz, downloads.

4. I crushed it in 2011. I quit my job at a network because I was making $xx,xxx a month. Decided to start my own network with a buddy I worked with. Then I lost everything. I got sued, was forced to shut down, and have been fighting legal battles for the past 9 months. The last successful affiliate campaign I ran was over a year ago. I was so depressed about my situation and paralyzed with fear that I was completely unable to do anything to change my situation.

But now I'm back.

I have never been more driven in my life to succeed than I am right now. Something snapped in my head recently and I realized the only one getting in the way of my success is me. I've made some mistakes, but it's time to get back in the game and make some money. I'm online 10 hours a day, I've got great knowledge and experience with almost every aspect of this business. I just need people to brainstorm with that can kick my ass and give me something to shoot for.

When I set a goal, I hit it. Always have, always will. I set a goal 9 years ago to make my first million by the time I turn 30. I've got just under a year left. I will do it with or without this group, but I would love to share the ride with some like-minded individuals and make some new friends along the way.

Team ASP is going to be tough to beat, but go Team Americas!

10-25-2012 03:33 AM #28 getzlaf15 (Member)

I'm located in PST (Socal). I've created a few thousand different campaigns in most niches (Bizop, Carins, Dating etc).

I love helping and sharing information. I'm good with php and unix (I run both Cpvlabs and Prosper, and Mobile Prosper). I think a good group is all that is holding me back from making a lot more money.

10-25-2012 03:34 AM #29 jimmyj (Member)

1. Location Melbourne AU
2.. Time spent in AM 1 Year
3. Campaigns created 1000's

1.Location: USA California

2.Time in AM: 9 months (enough time for a baby to be born)

3. Campaigns: 30+ including 2 big ones ($500+/day spend) My expertise is in mobile.

4. Grew up poor and I'm |-| << that fcking close to being full time AM. I'm hungrier than a fat guy at Hometown Buffet (US brahs know what that means)

EDIT: My full time job is working night shifts at a hospital 3 nights/week, where I spend 95% of my time in front of my laptop doing AM, so that will not affect my participation whatsoever.

Also, I don't sleep.

I am a member of one of the groups. Heres a few tips I have learnt in the games.

- keep testing
- track everything
- focus on one source and one offer

is that worth the paid subscription?

Last day of hunger games today!

12-09-2012 09:56 PM #33 jonemd (Member)

I hope you'll be posting final team profits! That's got me intrigued...

12-09-2012 10:18 PM #34 Mr Green (Administrator)

We will post total team revenues, but profits is up to the team members, we don't have that info.

12-09-2012 10:47 PM #35 jonemd (Member)

Well how do you know who wins? Surely it's not all just based of revenue?!?!?

12-09-2012 11:16 PM #36 Mr Green (Administrator)

Yep it's all been based on revenue! Just like the first competition. When you have 5 guys running on multiple sources, and running non competition based campaigns on those same sources, it would all get a bit too messy.

Even though winning is nice, the point of the competition is to excel the learning curves of everyone involved.

Looking forward to see the results !!

Yep. It is. That right there will make you more money than any campaign hand-out advice you can get.

12-15-2012 09:51 PM #39 stackman (Administrator)

To the final round Hunger Game contestants we give out more tips on boiling offers, tricks to get them up fast, certain targeting techniques, landing page tricks etc..

If you have a campaign idea in mind, or even an offer you plan on testing. Start a follow along thread and get cooking! Those threads light a fire under your campaign and you may receive some serious help from a mix of affiliates and advertisers who know how to run that offer!
