FaceBook: Goal $150/Day

This is my very first follow along campaign and my first shot in FaceBook PPC. My goal is to hit $150/day during this follow along.

Overview:

Over the last couple of days, I've been researching and learning FaceBook PPC and I'm ready to apply and take massive action.

I've finally chosen an offer and here are the details.

Offer Win a Smart Phone (AU)

Payout $10.25

Ad Network Peerfly

Traffic Source FaceBook

Max CPC Bid $1.00

Spent: $10

Revenue: $0

NET: -$10

I got my ad accepted and I maxed out at 14 clicks ($0.70 per click) with 0 conversions. My main concern here is that when I clicked on the ad preview, and thereafter clicked on the link to the offer, I got the FaceBook Page that this site has been reported as malicious by users.

I've actually cloaked my URL (self-hosted cloaker). I'd love any advice from all you epic people out there who's crushing it. My goal for the week is to be in the green and continue testing different angles.

Thank you for your time reading this post and I look forward to hearing and learning from you all.

seems like a way high starting bid for AU

why don't you try another offer? FB doesn't like any 'win a free ----' stuff.

there is a shit ton of cheap traffic on FB and getting to $100-$200 per day isn't tough at all. It will be easier for you if you start with legit campaigns. For me, cloaking would come into the picture for atleast $1000/day profit or more. It's not worth it for anything less than that.

Also, spending $10 for a $10 payout doesn't tell you anything at all. I can't say that I am crushing it, but getting to $500 per day is very easy on FB. Just stay compliant and test a bunch of images.

Invest in your education first before making your first profit, I don't understand why people is so desperate want to f**k without taking down their pant first...education always come first... First thing first ! Remember 7 Habits !!!

Thanks for sharing. I took the "FaceBook suggestion bid". Gonna try a different offer and test it out.

Yeah you're right man. It's kinda on a really fast track getting banned going that route. To be honest, my mindset was more of the "I can afford to lose some cash since the payout is high and couple of conversions would get me even."

What would be your biggest tip on hitting that $100-$200 mark soon?

Hey man, I appreciate you for being direct. Shows that you're really into helping people and I am grateful. To be honest, I'm the sort of person who learns fast by taking action and picking things up along the way. I've actually gone through some of the threads that are posted here as well. Thank you for your reply.

P.S: What are the seven habits?

Yo I know this guy and he is a go-getter and actually a good dude, unlike some of us.

I'd recommend going through every FB follow-along on here... most of them are unsuccessful but the feedback that is given on them will be invaluable for your first campaign (cash in on other peoples' mistakes). And yeah FB is particular about certain angles so start with something that has been proven to work on FB (and not get you banned) and go from there.

I know you'll hit $150/day bro - it's light weight, especially with a traffic source such as FB. Even super-niched camps can hit that with all the volume over there, it just takes the right combo.

Also I think STM members get a free FB spy tool 1 month membership (Idk if it's still active but they still have it pinned up top so it may be - http://stmforum.com/forum/showthread...s-no-limit!%29). Honestly, spy tools are better than anyone else's follow along could be because they allow you to swoop real empirical data that is working right now. Crush it bro...

This is just the beginning my friend. Keep grinding and applying what you learn from here and you'll get there soon enough.

My advice would be to learn a bit more about FB first - campaign structure, safe offers, mywot, redirection, bidding strategies etc., learning fast by taking action is one thing, but you'll fast track yourself to losing your account, not just petty cash.

Hey all,

It's been a couple of days since I last posted on this thread. I just wanted to let you all know that it's NOT dead or inactive.

Over the last couple of days, I've taken up on some priceless advices as well as some actionable steps from epic people like HD2010, Zeno, Zealous, Wannabe and Grassroots.

I've been immersing myself with threads, posts from BoostCTR as well as communicating with some people who are into FaceBook Ads.

I've picked another offer and this time it's a legit offer. Been running it for two days. Here are the details:

Offer: Be2 Dating (AU)

Payout: $7.10

Ad Network: NeverBlue

Traffic Source: FaceBook

Max CPC Bid: $0.66 (Increased it recently)

Spent: $1.97

Revenue: $7.10

Net: $5.13

I've trying to scale this up but right now it seems like my challenge is increasing my reach. I've tried to increase my big to 66 cents but nothing really changed. I'm waiting for another set of ads to be approved by FaceBook (I usually set up 4-5 ads at one go with different variables).

Am I doing something wrong? How can I improve my reach?

Below is a screenshot of my ad performance.

Thanks once again for all your replies. Stack That Money is by far one of the best investments I've ever made in my IM career and I have Zealous to thank for!

Looking forward to your replies and continue to learn and grow.

A combination of your bid and CTR is why your reach is so low. A .06% CTR is very low. FB shows preference to ads with a high CTR. A high CTR will give you cheaper clicks and more impressions. If I remember correctly, when I did be2 AU I was bidding around .80, maybe even higher. The first thing you need to do is get ads that will get you a higher CTR. I would also recommend checking out some of the threads on here that talk about bidding strategies for FB (sorry I don't have any bookmarked, they should be easy to find though).

Gotcha Browndog. Thanks for sharing. Thing is that if I'm bidding around 80 cents a click, with a 10% conversion, I'd be at a loss of 90 cents. I'm direct linking to the offer and my AM shared with me that the offer and location that I'm targeting sees around a 10.8% conversion.

If you get your CTR up FB will give you clicks for cheaper than your bid. With a higher CTR, .66 clicks or even cheaper are definitely possible. You just have to have an ad with a higher CTR to get volume with clicks that cheap.

Also, in my experience be2 is VERY strict on quality. If you haven't already, I would ask your AM for advice on how to keep the quality high. I wasn't able to figure it out so I can't really help you there.

Hey man, I'll work on that for sure. Thanks for sharing bro.

Yeah that was the first thing my AM told me to be honest. He gave me some advice such as having ages on 35 and above and not to promote it with a perception that it's free. That's the route that I'm heading.
