Hey STM'ers
so i'm testing a few gaming app offers out on admob.
targetting one carrier. (it's the restriction..)
budget - is set to max $500,000
bidding - around 0.10
so, initially i had 3 campaigns with 10-15 ads in each of them.
when i first ran those initial 3 campaigns, i got good volume of clicks.
but after 3 hours. they just complete stopped.
I had good ctr, my budget wasn't depleted. everything was good.
left my campaigns at "run" status and waited for another day.
still no clicks. maybe like 10 clicks/ hr?
so, i copied those campaigns 10 times (fresh campaign from admob's point of view)
and ran those. but i started getting good volume again. wtf?
and then 3 hours later, volume = gone.
does this mean, i need to keep pumping out new campaigns?
anybody have any idea?

What was your CTR and was this Android? Usually if you get a TON of clicks then traffic stops it's because your eCPM isn't high enough, but I've seen some funky stuff happen on Admob lately, use to be a lot smoother.
Check your account budget
If you set a $10k budget on your campaign and you only have $1k in your account then your ads will slow down.
And yes, its all about eCPM - high bids and high CTR = lots of traffic
Yes, this is for android...
and my ctrs vary from 1% - 1.5%
i don't think it's the CTR problem.
but althoguh.
my budget is set at 500,000 and i only have $250 deposited. perhaps that's the problem?
and has anyone noticed that the "accelerated spending" feature is gone? I can't seem to find it anywhere.
How did you get your campaigns approved? Could never get anything approved on admob.
They moved most of their mobile inventory to AdWords I believe.
Admob is still supposed to be for Apps (Android and IOS) - adwords is just mobile web.
Tbh though Admob is a shadow of its former self (pre google sale) - when was the last time they released anything innovative!?
If you ask me Google got a great deal paying just $750m for them ... how big would Admob be now if they had stayed independent?
