I'll start my Sitescount journey in the next few days.
Of course I'll do many mistakes picking placements for my banners at the beginning, so in order to not lose too much I'm aiming to start with the lowest possible CPC, at least.
Is the 1c cost per click a thought task ?
On the vast majority of quality US inventory, $0.01 CPC is an unrealistic goal.
On less premium international inventory, $0.01 CPC is optimistic but not unrealistic.
Actually european traffic is in my plan, at first.
So maybe i'll have some better chances to study media buying without spending a lot of money
I'm focusing on getting 3 cent clicks on facebook. Def possible.
Hi Dario,
Just playing devil's advocate here, I'd recommend you to increase your revenue per visitor in order to be able to outbid your competitors instead of getting cheap traffic.
Of course if you can get a 1 cent CPC and a sky high conversion rate in this case your profits will be ridiculously high.
Keep us posted about your Sitescout adventures and I'm really looking forward your success.
you get what you pay for..sure you can get 3-5 cent clicks with totally untargeted banners that just engage the users to click. but your goal is to pre qualify the users to make sure they are interested in your offer unless you are running iq quizzes or stuff like that..even then it's difficult if you attract the wrong audience....pre qualify with your banners...pre qualify with your landingpage to get sales,leads...if you are looking for crap traffic shoot for 1cent clicks...if you need quality find a balance between quantity and pre qualifying. the pot of gold is hidden in the middle.
