PPV - Email Submit

So for my first posting, I decided to do a follow along. I was hesitant because I did this before on another paid forum and ppl ended up ripping/copying but fuck it.

I want to learn and get advice from the best!

So I'm doing something similar to Stack's Bieber campaign but putting my own angle on it.

I'll be testing 2 LP's.

1)

2)

After the user clicks on whomever it goes straight to an email submit offer.
I'll be rotating 5 different offer on one network.

I'm currently targeting about 50 url's associated with Jayz.

Currently awaiting approval on LI. Any suggestions, advice and tips are welcome.

Thanks!

After the user clicks the ad, have him to wait like 5 sec on a loading page, it'll improve your epc by a lot!

Good idea. Can you point me to a php or javascript file to do this?

Not sure if you're serious.

unless that loading page says something like "Thank you for your input, claim your prize on the next page" and then redirects to the offer - I don't see a point in the delay. A lot of like the old school polls on GCN.

Haha I'm serious, split test it and let me know on how it goes The waiting time get the user to hope he'll get the prize or be selected to join bizopp X, it also add a feel of realism to the offer, getting a free iPad after I answered only 3 questions looks strange to me but if I see that there is some kind of process behind it, that it doesn't look like it's everyone who get the prize, then I'll feel more compelled to do everything I need to in order to receive my prize that I won with my good fortune

I get a much better form completion rate after a loading page on my end.

I'm curious to see if this works :P

Also I would have a play around split testing who you're comparing Jay Z too to see how that effects your ctr to say someone like Eminem or something.

The delay points into the right direction. Make a second page where you show a chart with how many people voted for what. Meta refresh after 5 seconds to the offer + of course have a big button to click thru.

the delay page sounds interesting, sweetweb, were you able to get a javascript or php file to do that? if you did, how did conversions look?

Personally I noticed a huge dropoff in cr when I had a user navigate two pages before getting to a submit. Even after a delay you'll notice that users drop off, but the ones that stick around tend to convert really well. If you want to display results, try it in a lightbox pop, or maybe at the top of the page and iframe the submit below if you can.

With the delay, try using a loading image with a "checking on prize status" or something to keep the user interested.

i've used a flashing "checking quantity" script that pops ups for about 5 seconds right after the person clicks through...that usually increases the CR.

mind to share how do you rotate your offers after you rotated your landing pages? I am learning the technique here and I only managed to rotate landing pages... but not the offers in the landing pages...
