Save time on MyWoT lookups!

For those of you constantly assessing new offers to run on FB (in the non cloaked kind of way) you'll want to be checking all pages at MyWoT. This can get tedious and you can get forgetful - but fear not! There is a bookmarklet to allow you to check a page without ever leaving it. Cut down your MyWoT lookup times by 87%!

How? Simply right click on your bookmarks bar > new bookmark > then paste the following code in the location/URL box. I'm sure you can all figure out how to get a bookmark of some kind on your bar or bookmarks menu. Then click it to give a little MyWoT assessment popup for the page you are on. Boom! Instant!

Code:
javascript:(function%28%29%7Bvar%20f%3Ddocument.getElementById%28%27wot-bookmarklet%27%29%3Bif%28f%29%7Bf.parentNode.removeChild%28f%29%3Breturn%3B%7Dvar%20l%3Dlocation.hostname%3Bif%28l%26%26l.length%29%7Bf%3Ddocument.createElement%28%27iframe%27%29%3Bif%28f%29%7Bf.setAttribute%28%27id%27%2C%27wot-bookmarklet%27%29%3Bf.setAttribute%28%27src%27%2C%27http%3A//www.mywot.com/bookmarklet/%27+encodeURIComponent%28location.hostname%29%29%3Bf.setAttribute%28%27frameborder%27%2C0%29%3Bf.setAttribute%28%27scrolling%27%2C%27no%27%29%3Bf.setAttribute%28%27style%27%2C%27position%3Afixed%3Btop%3A10px%3Bleft%3A10px%3B%27+%27width%3A135px%3Bheight%3A235px%3Bborder%3A0%3Bmargin%3A0%3Bpadding%3A0%3Bz-index%3A10487575%3B%27%29%3Bif%28document.body%29%7Bdocument.body.appendChild%28f%29%3B%7D%7D%7D%7D)()

zeno : will it work on chrome ?

Yes, should do. As far as I know these should work on any/all browsers provided they are know what bookmarklets are. Chrome/Safari/Opera/FF for sure.

now the trick is to program a lander so it adds a bookmark folder and bookmark for all your offers... Eventually, they'll click on the folder and a bookmark, and then go to an offer...
Poor man's retargeting...

Yah and changes their homepage to www.qooqle.com, made into a custom google search engine that displays your ads only xD

That's cool. Seems like a nice alternative to running the mywot toolbar in the browser. I hate getting the annoying popup everytime I go on a red page. As if the big red circle wasn't noticeable enough. Thanks for the tip

what I'm wondering is why are some reputable websites, like STM itself, red?

Fraudulent/malicious downrating for whatever reason, to stifle competitors, or just because you're an ass. The MyWoT system is biased and corrupted, but unfortunately FB makes judgements with it.

Yeah the Chrome addon is useful too - I just use the bookmarklet as it is cross-browser compatible.

It boggles my mind as to how it got badly rated in the first place... I mean, who visited who had the clout and desire to red-rate it...

MyWoT is just a place for white-knight internet trolls to do their thing, I'm suprised craigslist etc hasn't got obliterated because there's a few 419 scammers floating around on it
