Hey guys, not trying to push products on you, i don't make commission or anything, just like to show you stuff when i come across it!
Just came across: Spydr's FB Ad Uploader/Split Tester
It looks absolutely awesome!
If you've ever used the Ad Uploader Mr Green acquired, it's like that but much better.
Main Features
- Posts ads by account ID so it can support accounts within accounts.
- Add/Remove single image.
- Add pictures by directory, no need to spend all day adding pictures one by one.
- Throttle ad posting speed(15, 10, 5 and 1 second).
- Save and Open campaign info.
- Has the ability to post hundreds of ads within minutes!(depends on internet connection speed of course)
- Runs on Windows 7, Vista and XP
Video
You can read more about it on WF/reviews from WF members. From my opinion it looks really good if you use Facebook Ads a lot!

Price
It's normally $247, but i got him to give the forum a $100 discount, so it's only $147!
This is the discount link:

Thanks for giving us a discount!
Btw, that Paypal discount link doesn't seem to be working (gives a "Sorry - your last action could not be completed" Paypal error).
1sec, let me fix
edit: work now?
I own this since day one and Matt is a great guy. I had some glitches and he worked with me over AIM to get them fixed. Nice tool and worth a shot if you're into FB advertising.
Great, my copy of Mr Green's Ad Uploader stopped working yesterday due to the new Facebook interface and I almost bought this one (for $197), I'm glad I didn't. Thanks stackman!
Looks awesome, but I think i'll just create ads manually until I get something profitable. The other thing is he said he will only support the program for a year, why only a year?
^^^
Yeah don't buy it if you don't need it! Only once you have some campaigns rolling on FB and want to test a large amount of ads so you can scale things up properly.
too bad only windows. looks like a great tool
Yep, he said he's making a Mac version over the next few weeks. I'm going to wait 2 weeks, if not just get a virtual box setup, i only have macs.
I have parallels running on my macbook, but when i run it it gets slow as hell. so no windows for me, at least not on my macbook
Damn I wish someone told me about this before I got the php facebook ad uploader...
i bought it yesterdays and the tool is really awesome..way better than mr.greens old uploader
I just bought this today and it included the BETA version for Mac. Is anybody using the Mac version? Any known bugs/issues/problems? I've sent the vendor an e-mail asking as well, but wanted to see if any of you have any experience with it.
Thanks in advance!
I was just told about the mac version. Going to get it ASAP, just need to wait until i have a proper internet connection because I'm on the equivalent to dialup right now.
I'm afraid that this ad uploader will be pulled when it get a C&D letter from FB because they dont have acces to the fb API. (same as the previous ad uploader)
Jordan - mac version is great. I am using it.
Marco - that is always the concern, but at least for this guy there is no website he is selling from. Lets hope this makes it more difficult to track down and C&D for fb
^^ Nice. Yeah will be getting it but using it on low levels, no 500 ads per day for me. I have this instinctive feeling their going to start cracking down on multiple accounts.
I'm having issues uploading ads and am getting the following error message:
"
Exception in thread Thread-1:
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "threading.pyc", line 460, in __bootstrap
File "startstop2.pyc", line 528, in run
error: (60, 'SSL certificate problem, verify that the CA cert is OK. Details:\nerror:14090086:SSL routines:SSL3_GET_SERVER_CERTIFICATE:certificate verify failed')
"
I'm wondering if it has anything to do with the updates they've made to the home screen interface. Is anybody else having problems uploading ads with this tool?
*I've sent Matt (the vendor) an e-mail asking about this. I'll keep you guys posted as I learn more.
The mac version is pretty much unusable, it doesn't change the subids when we upload the ads, is there something I'm missing?
Thanks!
Forget my last post, I found how to do it
JM
After several e-mails back and for with Matt (the guy who created this software) we figured out the problem!
I was messing with my account settings and turned on the secure browsing feature. Simply disabling this feature solved the problem. This setting can be found in:
SETTINGS --> ACCOUNT SECURITY --> SECURE BROWSING (HTTPS)
^^^
Make sure it is UNCHECKED.
Dang, getting lots of errors today. Was working last night. anybody else having errors?
same problem..but i'm not sure if it is the uploader itself or issues with the facebook platform today..let's wait and see :-)
Any update on this one? Still working?
working like a charm..it's the best uploader out there right now
Cheers mate!
Yeah I've just used my version to upload a campaign - not one error
Bought it and working flawless!
I was doing everything manually once the uplaoder MrGreen bought was taken down, but now i use Spydr's daily!
I've got nothing but trouble with it. The mac version keeps giving me an error that campaigns doesnt exists and stuff. i tried everything with spydr;s help - nothing helped. so i tried the windows version and i kept getting errors, so i was so frustrated that i haven't tried since - maybe it will work now..
^ which version did he sent you can you check for me really quick?
thx
I use the mac one with no problems at all
What's not to like about it. Even the fast uploading works well, hundred ads in a couple min cleanly

I just bought it and spent the last 6 hours figuring out how to make it connect to facebook, it's a hassle because facebook will see it as a new device trying to connect basicaly and we'll deny the connection if you don't comfirm it as being safe. I disabled all the connection notification and securities, played with the user agent feature and logged in from a few differents configurations on a few different computers until facebook had no choice then just accept the incoming connections...Work perfectly after that, and it's awesome to be able to split test in a blink of an eye.
ps: watch out, there's no limit as to maximum of letters in the body of the ads so you have to check yourself when you reached the limit. also noticed a few bug like it would not accept punctuation sign after special charactere like % $ &... but overall it does the job and make you economize lot of time.
Anyone have a guideline for how many ads is safe to submit per day? I know earlier in the thread stackman mentioned 80, anyone else here do more than that?
I would stay under 300.
I do around 100-300 per day.
And Never do 300 at once, spread it out over the day.
I've bought this tool this weekend.
First campaign launched this morning, it worked like a charm.
60 ads in the first shot, each of them approved.
Very useful tool
PS: it works with french characters: é,è,à
are this tool still working ? can i create first campaign with this ?
thanks
God Bless THIS FORUM
tool was working fine up til yesterday, ive had it for like 6 months, getting a error , network connection error and invaild file permission, anybody else getting this?
duooo, was just about to buy this huge TIME SAVER tool
Any update on this?
Update on what?
The tool works like a charm!
All I needed to know =), someone was saying that it stopped working earlier in the thread
Hey, Just bought the tool, where do I download this thing?
My Facebook Ads admin was just upgraded to the new version. Ad creation screen is totally different and Sypder tool does not work anymore for me. Anyone else experience this and is there going to be an update to the tool?
Shit, I should've signed up here a long time ago. Oh well, finding this thread after an hour of checking out the forums was a nice surprise.
Not sure if this is out of line, but the desktop ad uploader is back up for sale at adsworkshop.com. You can get 25% off(recurring) with the coupon 73D8E08D
Thanks again Jordan for posting this thread!
