Just submitted a new campaign on facebook.
As soon as I clicked 'Place Order' the ad went live straight away. This happened for all 4 ads in the campaign.
This also happened at the weekend. I set up a campaign hoping it would go live at some point before the end of the weekend (knowing it probably wouldn't), and it was approved literally within seconds as if it was automatic and not subject to their reviewers.
I'm thinking that
a) This happened automatically as my other campaigns that were already running had pretty much the same creatives/content etc and it can somehow detect this.
b) One of their reviewers was sat there with an empty queue then my campaign popped up and they jumped right on it. This would be impressive seeing as they would have translated the copy in literally half a second.
I'm also thinking that if this was in any way automatic, is it worth risking adding a creative of a girl with her tits out!!
(or at least more risque!)
Somebody mentioned that maybe they are being a bit more lax and approving loads of stuff to maximize revenue after their stock market fail.
Would be good if anyone has any ideas on this.
It will be whitelisting of the image used and URL, happens to me a lot when I am duping campaigns to new demos with the same images/advert URLs. The flood of FB approval emails comes in seconds later. If I recall rightly it is only in that specific country as well, as when I went to make campaigns across the other side of the globe I got a normal delay time.
@lancer
what offers do you promote bro?
Yeah can try with sexy girls.... I wonder the CTR
I have noticed that if I select my image from the library of previously used (and approved) images instead of uploading it from my computer then my ads are often approved within minutes. Not sure if this was the case here but just something I've noticed.

@Zeno- At the moment the campaigns are in countries on the same continent (not all the same languages so I wonder if its worth making the headlines a bit more risque if they are gonna be automatically passed cos of the url and image?). I was tempted to try and sneak in the image of the infamous 'gray shirt girl' but I dont wanna risk anything as the campaigns seem to be doing quite well with one or two images that I would say are bordering on 'too sexy' (well at least from FB's point of view) and I wanna try and milk the campaign as much as poss
@gadmei- Dating campaigns. Yeah more boobs will definately increase ctr (on a hot girl....or maybe on a granny as well
)
@doppelganger- Do you mean doing it through power editor? I've opened it a few times and keep thinking "i'll figure this out next time'. Its not very user friendly I dont think. At the moment, I've just been uploading from the same dir on my pc (images that I've had approved before). The recent batch were images I had approved before but with added borders so were 'technically' different pixel wise.
ive notice this except with disapprovals
Its funny because now a few of my ads that went live straight away have been randomly dissaproved after running for over a week! They are running ok on other camps...but for how long!
