Hello,
I am new to affiliate marketing. I am going to build a marketing business as an affiliate. My question is, what kind of information should I include on my personal website? Being new, I was wondering what kind of information that a CPA network would be interested in to see on my site to help with approval to their network. Can anyone provide an support on this topic?
Thanks.
Hello maharvey and welcome aboard
The website is not really necessary, a lot of networks will accept you without it as long as you have a serious / legit application, add them on Skype, have them on the phone etc ..
They're just trying to avoid frauders but they do know most of aff marketers don't have a website.

STM is quite reputable, tell them your id and you are a member of this forum.
Ok,
Thanks. I think that I still want to build a website though.
@maharvey : why ?
If you insist on doing it, just install Wordpress -> install a clean theme that just has a nice picture and a link to contact info/about us. Simple, nothing more.
I'm making businesses out of my hu$tles. Can't I use my own website as a source of traffic?
I want to look like a legitimate business is what I mean.
STM reputation is legitimate
I have a site for my offers and a site for me, which I should update!
And that is a very important point, I have learnt. There are only so many hours in a day and what is it that we do? Are we CPA guys and gals or website owners?
I spent many years developing full on ecommerce wordpress sites for folks, including myself and realised that spending all my efforts on Internet Marketing was a better use of my time. Once you create a site with a blog and an RSS feed you have to keep up to it or it will soon look old and out of date and any visitors will just bounce!
I have been accepted by lots of CPA Networks just giving my offer site, which if you go to it has a blank home page with just a title. I am going to change that and have my latest offers on it too, very soon but that will be done via Wordpress and not involve me lifting a finger when I add an offer to the backend of the site.
Try something like a virtual business card.
Something real simple that gives your name, contact info, and biz info.

I completely understand where you coming from
but,
at the same time its really not necessary.
I was able to get onto a few networks by just talking to the AM about my goals with the business, my plans, and what I was looking for in their company. I didnt have a website or anything. Sometimes it is just a matter of getting on the horn and walking the AM through your action plan. Granted, some of the more prestigious networks will want to see some more proof, but at least you can snag networks like Maxbounty, Neverblue and the like.
