I've scheduled 1 hour chat with a List building & Emailing expert

I'm a quite a newbie for what concerns list building and emailing so I've contacted this (hopefully) expert and requested 1 hour of his precious time.

BTW I'm not fully aware of the questions I could ask him so post here your List building questions & doubts, I will forward them all to this person and I'll paste here the answers.

1. What does GI mean?
2. When building a list, should I care about double optin?
3. What are good places to buy data/lists?
4. Any list cleaning services he/she recommends?

1. General Internet, as opposed to mailing yahoo, hotmail, gmail, aol, cables. Everything else is considered GI.
2. Not really. One thing we do when we're doing stuff like that is get people to double opt-in. Then the ones that don't we push to a different account. Then we have both.
3. Not really any good places I'm aware of. You can buy data from merchants some times but most list broker data is only so so that I've come across unless it's on revshare.
4. Data Genie is decent. There's a few others as well.

If you're really interested in mailing head over to mailerforum.com there's a ton of mailing info over there and experienced guys.

If you want to buy into e-mail, don't buy data, buy drops from good mailers and specific sites and build your list with their subs.

I'm not sure what you mean exactly. Are you saying that I send my email using other mailers. If so, how would I collect email addresses from that? or are you suggestion I revshare with them.

No, i've sent an email informing him that i found a little security problem with his website and he agreed to answer some questions.
BTW I'm still founding his website's folders unprotected and now that i've spent few minutes reading his "EnormousEmailProfits" I would say that he's not an expert at all. I've also found his report to be worthless.

I'm sorry folks, nothing to see here.
