My First Follow Along Campaign in STM - PPV (7)
Hello guys, this is my first time post follow along campaign in STM.. I'm still new in this forum, and beginner in affiliate marketer but will be super affiliate as soon as possible!!!
Btw, I start learn internet marketing last year, and know about CPA in february.. Get shitty ebook n guru until I know this amazing forum!! Hell yeahh.. Now I focus in this industry as my primary business, so please give me advice how to grow in this industry..
I still not finish the 40 day guide because I join this forum 2 days ago, but I have some basic so I decided to start my campaign.. Learning by doing right? hahaha.. So here we go...
Choosing Offer
I ask to my AM for what offer that convert well on PPV, and he give me an offer to try.. It's mypcbackup offer with $7.04 payout, network I use is EWA.. Beside that he told me to try email/zip submit, and while read in this thread http://stmforum.com/forum/showthread...ing-your-Offer tijn said focus email submit in ppv, so I will try email submit on my next campaigns..
CPV Network
I use LeadImpact with $10 daily budget...
Direct Link / Landing Page
I choose to use a Lander, because when I spying the advertiser lander doesn't look good in leadimpact pop up.. I have rotate my lander and will kick lander that not perform well..
Targeting
I collect some general keyword that related to "how to backup pc" and use related keyword from affexpert tools to get more keyword.. Then I use URL Scraper for my targeting.. BOOM!! I got 220 URL (I deleted URL that have alexa < 5000 because it's too risky targeting that URL on PPV) then I submit that keyword to Leadimpact.. My campaign got rejected three times because some problem, but now it's approved..
Day 1
This is my data :
First URL blow my daily budget, the URL is "windows.microsoft.com" and I'm not shocked this URL eat my budget.. LoL.. I didn't check all URL while submit and while leadimpact approve my campaign I still sleep -_-"
Is there any option in affexpert to remove site like microsoft.com, yahoo.com, dll?? or I must manual remove after use the tools?
Summary
I don't get good data in day 1 because this URL and not get a chance for other URL to perform..
Spent : $10
Conversion : big zero!
Question
1. I still feel too beginner for collecting URL.. How you guys collect URL?
2. I need to think more creatives with different angle how to target.. Any reference for learn about choosing angle in PPV?
I will run this campaign for the next 3 days, and report here..

I made same mistake like day 1, the first URL is "shopping.yahoo.com" hahaha.. It burn almost my whole budget, but I still get 2 lead from another 2 url.. So I kill the first URL.. Wait for the next day to collect more data..

but since ur still beginning and hae a low budget, why dont u manually select urls and keywords?
That way you can better profit at a faster pace because, you dont need a million url or keyword list..all you need is a few to start off with.

Maybe if the first URL doesn't give me conversion anymore I would kill that.. (That URL has conversion before)
I tend to agree with Sean3 on this one. I would focus on a few targets you'll know you will get great traffic from. Don't bid for 1-2 placement or you'll blow you're budget quickly. Aim for 3-5 and you should still get enough traffic for decent data.
