Was talking with some friends about campaign automation tools for both search/content and Facebook.
My friend was saying that a single media buyer can mange 5-8x's the campaigns using automation tools as someone doing it with the adwords editor or by hand.
He recommended Kenshoo, but I was curious if anyone in here had experience with any and what their opinions were.
Interested to year your feedback.
qwaya is cheap and cheerful for facebook but has some great dayparting & rule based automation you can setup. I also know they are working on an internal conversion pixel so you can add offsite conversions to your rule set.
I always thought you had to code from the ground up or hire a custom programmer for this sorta stuff.
For Adwords, they now have automation scripts that you can run in the accounts (javascript based).
A chunk of your normal API features are available through Adwords Scripts.
I don't recall Qwaya being listed in the partners being given access to test the FBX, but once it rolls out properly I imagine more API tools/marketing platforms will get their hand in the pot. They definitely allow you to add in multiple accounts, can see so on their tour page.

http://www.marinsoftware.com/ for search has been recommended to me many times. They can be expensive if the ad spend is less than $1M/month
