I've had many unsuccessful campaigns on LI lately, and my next attemp would be car loans. Do you have any suggestion ?
I'm currently testing auto loans in Trafficvance and this niche converts quite well. I've only done some preliminary testing with LI traffic but my results haven't been nearly as good as they have been with TV. That's not to say that they won't convert with LI traffic; I just haven't put much time into running this in LI as I'm still optimizing and scaling this niche in Trafficvance. From my initial observations LI traffic is generally a LOT cheaper for auto loan and auto related targets, so you should be able to make it work. As I've learned with other niches, the key is to find a good offer that actually converts! Without giving away too much about my campaigns I'll tell you that you should start with "obvious targets" and test out your offers. While having higher bid prices, these targets should give you very high CTRs (like 30-75% with a simple screenshot lander )and you'll know if you have a good offer without spending too much. EPCs on a good offer should be $.30 or higher. Once you find an offer that converts well then scale it by thinking about who else needs a car loan. Your targeting options are endless but do realize that once you scale out from obvious targets you're going to have to spend some serious money to properly test these types of offers. The offer I'm running is around $10.00, and I'm testing 3 landing pages, so it comes out to roughly roughly $30 to test each target. The scary thing is that CTRs on some high converting targets might not look to promising (as low as 2-3%), but with a good offer you might get $1.50+ EPCs on some of these targets! So yeah, you can make it work but to get any volume you're going to have to branch out from obvious targets like auto loan websites, and be prepared to spend some money weeding out bad targets.
We have some people running this and it is doing well and they've been running for months. Let me know if you're looking for a deal that works well.
