Delivery Serivice...

Hello,

This company is amazing: http://www.deliveryhero.com/

They have employed 400 people in 2 years.

You can read here more about this company:

How much money they are making from one order? I know that the prices are the same like in the restaurant.

I think they get 10% from a order commission...

this is a very nice real business model. I just like that the customers that order and register on the site come back and order more and more.... Great niche

It's a pretty cool business model.

In Bangkok / Vietnam I was using it basically every other day. Order from like 60+ restaurants, and food's here within an hour...delivery charge is literally $1.

But yea probably 10% commission from the restaurants.

Yep same here - used it allot.

As a student I ran a small local delivery business, delivering anything you need. Especially in the late hours.

Like a kinda emergency service.

Of cours beer and stuff like that did well.

But the best seller?

Toiletpaper

Who would have guessed.

It did ok, but it was low margin and managing the delivery drivers was a royal pain. Finding reliable ones was very hard.

Not a feasible model here in Alberta Canada. I think there's one service I know of like this in my area but I've never used them - costs too much. Would be nice to have though
