New Follow Along - From Raw PPV Newbie To Cash Spewing Monster - $xxx A Day Profit

Hey guys,

Back again.

Time to start a new follow along.

I did a follow along a while back with POF,
but I just couldn't seem to crack it. I got
disheartened after about 8 weeks of it, so
I pulled the plug.

The whole time I was doing POF though, I
was dying to get involved in PPV. PPV was
my sole reason for joining this place.

So here we are.

I already did a test campaign last week,
and very quickly found that my hosting and
tracking wasn't up to it.

So i Just got some new hosting from Beyond,
and had CPV Lab installed, and now I'm
ready to rock and roll.

First campaign went live today, email submit
through MaxBounty, $1.80 payout. Ipad 2 offer.

My results:

Spent: $13.16
Made: $1.80

For anyone who struggles with Maths, that's
a loss of $11.36.

Not great, but the one conversion was like a
silver lining lol.

So, today has left me with a question:

How do I find URLs to target? The url I made
the conversion from had the plug pulled by Lead
Impact right after. I'm guessing because it was
an apple.com url, and they don't like you popping
offers over the same product or something?

With that URL gone, traffic is VERY slow to come,
I've got something like 18 URLs live in Lead Impact.

I wanted to follow the 40 day guide for gathering
URLs, but if I'm not allowed similar URLs to the
offer, then it's kinda pointless because they'll all
be rejected.

Anyway, that's day one over.

Roll on tomorrow. The plan is to put up some more
campaigns, either direct linking or with simple landers,
all email/zip submits.

-David

PS- What's the best way to use the "Engage %" in
CPV Lab? What does it actually signify?

Check out the affexpert tools here and scrub google for related urls.

The engage % is useful to gauge your landing pages' performance - it represents the percentage of users that kept your lander open past the engage time you set.

EDIT: I see you've read the 40 day guide. Picking similar URLs to your offer is fine, LI probably pop their own stuff at apple URLs and removed it for that reason. Email them and ask!

Thanks man - I've been checking out the Affexpert tools today, and will also be looking
at Google and the adplanner.

Also, awaiting a response from LI about the apple urls.

Thanks for your help. Real update later.

Hey , the first thing I would do when running with email & zip submits is to rotate at least 4.

These offers are so dependent on quality that if network wide quality is bad you will suffer from it big time.

I also think DL is fine to start , once you know the good offers you can move into creating landers and optimizing targets.
