I have applied for a trafficvance account and agreed to all their terms. They have just emailed me and asked that someone gives me an endorsement from an advertiser who spends at least $50 a day with them.

1. Is this normal?
2. Does anyone fancy giving me their endorsement

2. I would ask an AM at one of your networks. TV changed their policy a year or two ago that anyone who refers someone is responsible for that person's actions. So if I refer you and you cloak stuff, then my account is also liable. Only way I have heard of people getting in nowadays are by getting their affiliate network to help them out.

Their traffic has been pretty bad for me lately. The whole exclusive approach isn't so appealing when you find out their traffic is pretty bad. Honestly, it's dropped so much lately in quality. Save yourself the time and effort and go to leadimpact. More volume, better traffic. Though it hasn't always been this way I've definitely noticed this trend more and more over the last year. Thought I'm sure if you work at it you can get something going,
I have 400%~ 200% ROI campaigns at LI that aren't even profitable at TV.

....and on the flip side, I've had some massive campaigns on TV that flopped on a massive scale on LI.

If you ask me, I'd rather run traffic using a source that isn't renowned for stealing campaigns and all the other shady shit they get up to!

Have you tried what twoj suggested? That's exactly how I got in to TV. Not sure how many people will hand out a referral if their account could end up on the chopping board.

Are you in the USA/UK/CA/AU/NZ or one of the other first tier countries (such as Germany, France, etc.)? I know they might make an exception to the referral if you deposit more money up front. I think it's around $5k. It sounds like a lot but Trafficvance is legit so no worries there, and you'll burn through that in the first month if you're launching campaigns on a daily basis.

If you can't make TV happen right now then I'd just go with a Leadimpact account. I wouldn't say the traffic quality and quantity at Trafficvance is any better or worse than LI; it just depends on what you're targeting. I usually launch the same campaigns on both networks and very rarely are my results similar. It's always one or the other in most cases. It's usually the case that the losing network has higher bids, way lower volume, too much competition, or just bad quality for that particular target and offer combination. That's just the way it goes....... One of the benefits of LI is that a lot of targets that are VERY competitive with high bids in Trafficvance will have no competition at all; on the flip side LI has their annoying "categories" depending on what you're promoting, so you might end up paying a way higher minimum bid than you would for the same targets in Trafficvance.

Oh. I own Affiliate Gateways which is my own network so that could be a blocker lol. If you are wondering why I am looking at ppv its because we niche targeted virtual currency on rpg games and content locking. Our motto is "You never stop learning" so I thought I would check out what a few other markets. PPV seem good to promote some of the stuff we got and thought it might be worth a look.
