Follow Along: Mobile Dating...1a

Hey guys

So I decided to jump into the world of mobile dating.

I decided to use Neverblue as my network (they seem to have ok mobile offers?) and I am using LeadBolt for my traffic source.

I'm trialling a Cuipd style dating offer for CA and AU.

I'm really not sure what I'm doing however i managed to follow the bouncing ball and successfully set up two camps (AU and CA).

My daily budget will be around $100



so...

Daily Budget: $100
Source: LeadBolt
Network: Neverblue
Offer CA: Cupid iPhone App Install - CA - Mobile Optimized: Payout $1.15
Offer AU: Cupid iPhone App Install - AU - Mobile Optimized: Payout $2.25
Targetting: iOS all
Wifi + Cellular
CPC: .10c


I am using 2 standard 320x50 banner creatives supplied with the offer, just to get my head around it.

Will report in the morning to see how I go

seems like a good setup..but i would add 2-3 own banners to the mix...creatives provided by the advertiser usually suck

Just an FYI, lots of traffic from Leadbot is push traffic, it's basically more or less the same as Airpush. So it simply means most of the traffic will be text ads, it's not really worth it to test banner ads over there. You won't be gonna collect data fast enough.

Just my 2 cents.

PS:/ I've also seen that you're targeting iOS, too bad it's literally not gonna give you much impression at all. More than 80% of their traffic is towards Android though.

OK so as assumed i didnt get many impressions overnight. But its ok, i didnt pay anything either.

So ive jacked up my bid to .75 at the moment too try and get a feel for where the bids are at, but i think im gonna squash this campaign based on what you guys wrote above and then start again with some android traffic.

Doubt ur gonna get any Ios traffic from leadbolt. They are good for android though.

Hmm interesting, curious how this will work out. Does sound more difficult than all other paid traffic sources though?

Its actually not that difficult to set up, but ill let you know how that goes
