Hey fellas,
I'm just at a research stage and I'm having trouble understanding mobile campaign tracking. I read through countless posts/threads on STM and I keep seeing lots of tracking terms thrown around (postback URL, pixel placement, VPS tracking...), but I can't seem to put the puzzle together.
I tried to look it up topically on this blog, but any guides that do cover tracking are not as relevant for someone who is so new to online mobile advertising.
I really don't want to start contacting networks for offers and not understand tracking in-depth.
Anyone has a good reference where I can turn to learn about this topic more in depth?

all you need to get started is Angry Russians 7 day guide to mobile - posted on this forum - and a general understanding of tracking which you can get from the 40 day guide (link in my sig)
dont try and "understand" it too much. Just follow the guides, take action, and you will learn what to do and not to do.
