Anyone Killing it with iPad Traffic??

Just curious if anyone is having lots of success with just strictly iPad traffic. Seems to be very hit or miss with me, but haven't gotten anything running full-steam on the platform yet.

I know the market is HUGE, just need to figure out the best offers to show them. I've had some difficulty too with some being 3G/4G, although I've found most iPad traffic is WiFi, which makes sense. I never use anything but a few apps and maps when I'm on my iPad's 4G connection.

If you've got any input let's hear it!

Yea, actually. The traffic converts a lot better on my landing pages for some reason - I think it's because the poeple are just sitting on their bed surfing away not really thinking much about what they are doing.

Thanks for the input. I figured you could get decent conversion rates with LP's if you catch the iPad users in the right mindset (i.e. chillin in bed/on the couch after work). Time for testing!

We optimize all our pages so that they detect if the user is on an ipad, and if so, the page changes to one that points that out and makes the lead gen forms a lot simpler-looking and "cuter."

We consistently get much higher conversion rates on ipad traffic than any other browser type.

People who have ipads tend to be more affluent and throw more money around, so it makes sense.

ive had the same experience as those that replied - ipad traffic does well. sofar its about par with desktop traffic. it outperforms other tablets.

another tip - analyse your stats by browser (for desktop traffic) - there are huge differences between IE, Firefox and Chrome for me.
