Looks like facebook has finally started testing their mobile ad network. Right now they are using a weird model (acting sorta like an ad exchange) but I guess they are just testing the water.

Yea thats true. That is why its taking them so much time to monetize their mobile traffic. They are trying to do it without ruining the user experience. Mobile is also why their revenues took a hit. Since I think almost 50% of users access it via mobile and its not monetized at all. So I think from the longest time they are trying to figure out how to make it workout without pissing off the users.
