How the heck I vote??? I don't see any "Rate it" link... I need to register? or maybe it's my location?

Need to register, they're trying to prevent fraud. Too bad fraud is what gave us this negative WOT rating in the 1st place.

Thanks for pointing this out John!

What would it be red? Makes no sense.

Yeah noticed this some time ago, and that tonnes of IM-related websites look like that. Not worth the time IMO, fuck MyWoT and everything they are.

In general it's not a huge deal (eg for me, I don't think my target users have WOT installed).

The problem comes when you try to post a link from fb to your site. Then you get something like this, because fb uses WOT data:

Yes and they are wankers for using MyWoT. What you COULD do is buy a new, relevant domain (if it is your site you are advertising) and just iFrame the entire thing. It's your site so not like an advertiser is going to ping you for it!

FYI Facebook also has other 'trusted partners' that will flag URLs that we can't look up so easily. One of them is probably WebSense. I have had some ads denied before due to this, they wouldn't tell me why the URL was flagged (it was GREEN on MyWoT) other than this 'trusted partner' crap. I even asked, out of interest if that was WebSense, no response. Grrrr.

Very interesting that it's red.

Time to greenify it!

Plenty of fish ads was red yesterday, I voted it 100% and it seems to have stopped flagging it but that means its right on the edge again.

Please help POF by voting it up also.

I can't stand wot, I go out of my way to vote up any affiliate related sites that are red on there but its so easy for people to manipulate and get your site rated as bad.

Just because something is related to making money online doesn't mean the site is bad.

I don't think it has much to do with commenting, I think it has more to do with actually being able to dispute the claims that MyWOT 3rd party providers do...

Huge biz opportunity for anyone who figures out an easy way to alter WOT. I voted STM up but it still redish orange. Seems like its based on some kind of algorithm which takes voting behavior into account. Someone told me once if you have been voting on myWOT for a long time that your votes will have a greater impact. So maybe it's possible to bribe people who have been using their voting system for a long time. lol
