Bogus "Media Buyer" posts on poker forum to scam?

I think he's asking if the whole "media buying" thread on the poker forum was just an attempt to scam people

I think the guy shared way too many useful details in the thread for it to be phony. He also shared details here after joining. All of what he said made sense and has been verified by people with experience.

And a buddy of mine who is successful online (tens of thousands profit a month consistently) is in touch with him, his story checked out.

From what I've heard, the $300 seminar was good as well. Eg not a scam.

Also, it would be a pretty elaborate, drawn-out scam to sell a bunch of spots at 300 bucks, if you think about it.

Of course I posted about the guy here first, so maybe I'm part of the conspiracy.....*cue scary music*

Ya, basically what dario said. I saw that someone posted a link to the poker forum post on here, so I was just highlighting this to anyone who has read through that post on twoplustwo.

lol, nice. I agree with you, it would be quite the elaborate hoax just to make $3000 or whatever it was. Plus, the OP seemed very very knowledgable about the subject. If you do check out "momchil9" posts on other forums though, he seems like a newb so it does seem fishy in that regard.

If you say he checks out though then I'll take your word on that! That was the thread that got me interested in IM and media buying so if turned out to be a scam, that'd be pretty disappointing. Pretty motivated from what I've seen on STM though!

The guy does seem to be a seasoned media buyer from the tips I saw shared in thread.
