I'm new to running display ads coming from more of an seo background and right now have been running ads on sitescout. One thing I've noticed is that there seems to be a huge discrepancy between the amount of clicks sitescout shows and the amount of clicks my network shows. Do you all notice something similar?
I'm not running through anything like 202 or cpvlab right now, just using all SS tracking and pixels, so there isn't any extra redirects that might be slowing things down and making the clicker go back.
I'm trying one of those already done CPS offers where the advertorial is part of the offer link. My AM said that it should register a click to the advertorial in my dashboard, it isn't just if they click through to the offer.
I looked at the last couple days of reports and it looks like an average of half my clicks in SS aren't showing up in my network dashboard.
Does anyone notice something similar with SS or should I jump ship on that offer?
Any info or advice would be greatly appreciated.
my guess is either different time zones or its a raw click vs unique click discrepancy
^^^^ Yes take a look at raw verse unique clicks. What amount of discrepancy are you seeing?
