Hacked Server / Prosper / Landers? (8)
Anyone ever had their stuff hacked into, and redirected?
I can't quite put my finger on it, but I have a weird feeling *something*, *somewhere* has been tampered with on my campaigns, and is redirecting possibly to someone elses affiliate accounts. It's easy enough to tell if the person redirects everything but with this, it looks like it's more subtle and is either a % redirect or at certain time periods.
I've had my hosting scan through for security breaches, scan for malware using maldet, upgrading openX security, checking landers, prosper, but so far nothing concrete except a sneaking suspicion.
Any one got any ideas on how best proceed?
That sounds like paranoia more than anything else. Check your machine anyway to make sure you don't have a keylogger.
After that change your passwords, make sure your box has a firewall installed. Check logs.

Lol. I know this sounds like simple paranoia but I will say this has happened to us previously (albeit on the pub server, not on ours) aswell as knowing of other affiliates who have been hacked and not known until much later on.
Iv'e heard of it happening before, one of my buddies caught it happening to his 202. The hacker was pretty swift about it too.
