Adwords Tracking - 202 or Adwords Conversion Pixel?
I'm running a site on Adwords content and search. For content the Adwords conversion pixel is getting the job done.
On search I'm curious if it can handle keyword discovery, which is most important to me.
My method is usually:
- Add broad and phrase match keywords on search
- See what kind of keyword phrases it picks up that are profitable
- Make exact match adgroups for those converting keywords
Years ago, I used Prosper202 to do all this. Back then Adwords didn't have the tracking capabilities they have now.
Is it possible to do the secenario outlined above without the use of something like Prosper202?

Sure you can, with the Adwords conversion pixel if you place it on your thank you page of the offer. Easiest this way. I don't think Google has postback URL stuff.

then select "All"
then you can see all the keywords that popped and you can add them or make them negatives
