Well, seeing better conversions with iPhone and dentist campaign , so far no input, from anyone, made some more landers, for my campaigns but I definitely need some guidance, as far as putting all the concepts together, I know I have skills , is just figuring out the mixing it all together !

I will post my other landers and stats.

I noticed you were running email submits on FB. That's kind of a bad idea because once it starts converting decent and making money, FB users will start whining and clicking the button next to your ad saying it's misleading ect. They are likely to ban your account.

My advice would be to delete those ads.

Maybe spend more time split testing some new landers and targets for the teeth campaign. That one looks promising.

Good Luck!

thanks for the heads up,
what are safe verticals and types of offers to run on FB ?
my biggest challenge is choosing the keywords LeadImpact so far i just been using their suggested keyword tool.
I have access to a lot of competitive intelligence tools, so if I have access to my demographics, I should just use
those to choose websites where my demographics are more active, or should I focus on sites within the same vertical ?

For Facebook. Don't run email submits (Lead gens are fine though), coregs, rebills, biz opps, downloads, to start as a beginner. Dating might be a good ground be it's being tough lately for newcomers. Games are great as well.

Thanks, I will look into some offers and choose one.

Didn't get any work done this week but learned a ton, I was in New York at the Search Marketing Expo, and wow, data orgasm

Highlight was the Facebook marketing workshop, from the top enterprise Facebook marketers.
Enterprise is 30k a days budgets for Facebook .
We will see how I implement and monetize the tactics.

Stats wise getting close to breaking even,
Although I'm haven't started new campaigns , also working along the_writer figured with our experience we could figure out ppv together.

Will launch new campaigns next week and start on dating on Facebook

Well first 2 days running a profitable ppv campaign on lead impact,

Now how to freaking scale it, cause making 20 dollars a day is not gonna do nothing for me....

I will try other ppv networks I guess.

I'm very hesitant of using trafficvance because of the $1000 dollar initial deposit, but apparently is the best investment a AM can make.
So... Will give it a try.

Ahh, for PPV then yeah TrafficVance generally has the best quality traffic as far as I know, but I don't do PPV. You could also try MediaTraffic, AdOn network and DirectCPV which all have lower initial deposits ($50-200 or so I think). Though I would rather drop 1k at TV than throw $100-200 at three different smaller networks.

sounds cool but i have no idea yet how to make a media buy profitable.

10-19-2012 01:20 AM #17 jimcrim (Member)

That tends to be the issue with PPV. You can get it profitable but scaling to real money can be a bit tricky depending on the vertical you're targeting. Have you thought about creating your own optin, collecting the email and redirect them to the offer after that? That way you can remarket your own list for a higher ROI. Just a thought. Never too early to start building a list.

well, I think im starting to get my mind around the whole concept of ppv, i been running small test here and there and I can break even on 90% I need to work on my landing pages to start making my campaigns profitable
also , once I start making a campaign profitable, someone outbids the shit out of me!!! by at least .10 to .20 so at that point im like ok Fuck it you can have it !!! their landers must rock ! I need to find what the Fuck they are doing, I guess thats the part thats being most difficult for me right now.

11-14-2012 05:27 PM #19 johanseg (Member)

IT's been almost a month, with no real success.
I usually break even, on most campaign, been trying the good old walmart, best buy email submits, with horrible results, will try new angles this week.
I have opened accounts with media traffic, and direct cpv. looking to get into traffic vance. but need the someone to vouch for me, which is weird... but understandable, will also launch my fist nsfw ppv campaign with ploose. so excited about that. I definitely need to change my landers. I know I have been
playing it bland ! and generic. so Will try some drastic changes on my landers this week.
