Any idea how to pass CPVLab subid's to EWA?

Can't really find how to pass subid's to EWA.. even if i'm using the built-in parameter (&SID=) and testing EWA url in the browser, i can't see the actual subid's from CPVLab in the reports... EWA reports.

Anyone..?

not sure of the answer here, but if you're using cpvlab subids / tracking, why bother with the network's subids? (I could be missing something here which I apologize, I thought the whole point of third party tracking was to avoid having to deal with network subids).

Hi eleadstudio,

You can submit a ticket to CPV Lab helpdesk team regarding this and enhance it with your campaign URL and a screenshot of your campaign setup and they will get that sorted out for you.

To submit a helpdesk ticket click here.

Thanks!

Hi,

Thanks for your responses! i think i wasn't so clear about the issue.. let's starting over. :-)

I grabbed the tracking link for EWA for one of their offers, than i added the parameter &SID="test1" to the end of the tracking link, i opened Firefox and paste the url with the "test1" subid i want to pass.. nothing happened, looked into the reports at EWA but it seems the parameter "test1" wasn't passed under the "SUB ID" column.

Now, i didn't even bothered creating new campaign in CPVLab and testing the issue..

I using CPVLab with other networks and i'm completable with passing subid's, just wanted to know how to use EWA built-in subid feature before actually setting everything in CPVLab for my real campaign..

Thanks!

1. Are you actually using quote marks in the subid or not? I.e. Are you using &sid=test1 or &sid="test1". Don't use the quote marks, they can cause problems.

2. Are you testing via an appropriate proxy and watching the http headers? Are you being redirected to the correct offer? If you're passing the subid and being redirected to an offer wall its possilble the click itself will get ignored in the subid/tracking data on EWAs end because it's out-of-geo and useless to you.

Are you looking under "SUBID Breakout" in the reports?

@zeno - sure, without the quotes.. :-)

Also using OverPlay for the proxy, and being redirected to the actual offer. didn't use http headers addon to check what's going on in the background..

@ajph - yeah, that's the one.

I'm also seeing the actual clicks within EWA platform... but not the actual subid i've added the the end of the url

Problem solved! wasn't thinking of exporting the reports! you can't see the actual subid's generated on the web platform..
