So after testing a couple of offers on facebook, I found one which is slightly profitable
It has been running for seven days now and the stats look like this:

Total people targeted are around 460,000
My EPC is $0.54
I am direct linking.
This is the first time for me on two fronts - I have never used facebook before and I have never done dating ads before.
So I have no idea what to do now. Should I just let it run until it dries up?
50% ROI is not bad but I am not getting much volume.
Is this the kind of campaign you guys would focus on and work on? Or should I spend my time looking for something better?
I know I should try a landing page, but I have no idea what kind of landing pages work in the dating niche for females
Also, what can I do to increase the volume?
I would really appreciate some help. Please don't hesitate to say anything you want, it will all be helpful to me.
Thanks
i've been playing with the POF spy tool. Got some ideas for landing pages.
You either need to increase CPC's or increase CTR (by testing more images)
:O:O
Thank you
I have created a simple landing page and made ads with some new images. Waiting for approval.
and yeah, I am tracking with prosper.
Spend limit is $500 but I have set the campaign budget to $300 so I can test other stuff too. However, the actual spend is between $100-$200. I don't know how I can increase the volume without having to bid higher.
The demographic is just 40+ females. No interest targeting. I'll create another campaign tomorrow with an angle I have in mind
OMFG
what is going on?
I created a new campaign with the exact same ad...just that instead of direct linking, I added a landing page. this is what it looks like right now:

Should I just delete the campaign and resubmit the ad?

CTR is atrocious.
Need to do a LOT of testing on ads.
Pickup some direct response ad copy books like Web Copy that Sells and Cashvertising.
Then go to http://www.boostctr.com/blog/category/win-of-the-week/ and read all 71 posts.
Make sure you actively read the books and the posts. What this means is get a notebook and start writing down good ideas and abstract principals based on recurring themes.
As you're doing this make ads with some of the ideas you come up with as you go along and make it about learning and testing at the same time.
