Hey wuzzuuuuuuuup stackers
Its been a while since i built any new campaign due to my bank issue ( which got fixed btw ). I decided to finally create my own follow along thread, setup a plan, setup a goal and stick to it. I would like to stay focused on PPV as I'm already running couple campaigns with Leadimpact and i really didn't have any big success with other traffic sources for more than a week, so i believe i should stick with the long term campaigns on my main traffic source ( Leadimpact ). I'm doing right now anything between 1K - 2K / day with Leadimpact on the financial Niche. I'm not going to pick a specific niche and stick with all of the 30 days, I'll just run anything with a short form and easy to complete since I'm just trying to conquer any new niche beside Financial which am doing really well with.
Tools:
1- Hosting with Beyond Hosting.
2- Tracking with Prosper202.
3- Affexpert Tools.
Networks:
1- Clickbooth.
2- A4D.
3- Adsimilis.
4- WSM.
5- Adperio.
I'll try to focus on couple networks only.
Trafficsource / Budget:
Leadimpact ( Maybe Site Scout if I'm having success with sites listed there ) / 10K
Goal:
The main goal is to add extra 500 / day to my bottom line with 2 - 3 campaigns to spread the profits and minimize the risk.
Will post my first couple tests today
Stay tuned

Hi,
If I may jump in and ask you a quick question... do you still use beyond hosting with LI even if you're targeting traffic outside of North America?
THanks
Honestly i use beyond hosting with all of my traffic. I believe most people now have a fast internet access.
Good luck! Stoked to see how this pans out man
Best of luck and glad to hear you got your bank issue resolved.
Aabdel,
Good post! You will be an inspiration!
Looking forward to the follow along! Glad your bank issues are resolved and that you'll be able to get back to working on campaigns. Hope to see you back on skype soon.

Good luck man!
Good luck bro. The more details you post the more we can help you succeed faster!
This guy knows his stuff, looking forward to reading your progress! Keep us updated
Good luck dude!
After doing some research here and there i think the Paid Surveys Niche is going to be my first Vertical to test because the targeting is so obvious. I can target the competition, Mom related websites, Coupons websites and Incentive type of sites ( like lottery and gambling ) because the have one thing in common which is that they want to save money and make money. I'll start with the very obvious targeting which is targeting the competition and direct linking 2 - 3 offers just to find out the top converting offer and scale from there, maybe build a list and send more campaigns in the future.
The offers:
I'll start testing 2 offers in the beginning ( Vindale Research - Minds Pay ) with two Networks ( Adperio - A4D ).
Here is a screenshot of the offers after resizing the browser to 800x600, they look perfect for direct linking over the competition.

The Demographics:
The demographics looks perfect for the targeting I've discussed in the beginning of the post, They're African Americans, Females, Moms and No Education who visit Incentive Websites.

Test # 1:
I'll pick 10 - 20 similar websites to pop over using Similarsites.com ( similarsites.com/site/vindale.com )to make sure the demographics are typical between the offers and the targets. I'll create all the variations of all the targets using the domain typos tool ( affexpert tools ). I'll have to switch and bait in Leadimpact because they'll disapprove the campaign if i put it in a category with 0.015 minimum bid since the paid surveys category minimum is 0.02 also so i can selftarget
.
That's pretty much for now, Lets see how this goes

great follow-along Ahmed!
just a quick question: what did you mean by "selftarget"? create two campaigns and one of them targets the other???
thanks!
HELL YEAH
that what i was waiting for
subscribed
I meant targeting the offers URLs, you know you can't do it with Leadimpact unless you're going to switch and bait.
oh I see, thanks for clarifying that...
would you change your approach for offers that have exit-pops? I mean, in that case, LI won't approve your direct linking because of the exit pop and the only way to get around is to have your own lander...
do you simply choose to stay away from those offers, or would you put a lander to test those offers?
cheers and look forward to your update on this campaign!
Well one offer have exit pop
but its cool since I'm switching the offers after approvals. I'll update the campaign for sure once i have some data since i just got couple hundred clicks and 3 conversions i don't think its enough at all. I'll just add a lot more URLs to get more traffic.
cool Ahmed!
would be great if you could share your thoughts on finding more targeted URLs...I've got a campaign running at the moment, the epc is around 13 cents and it only costs me less than 2 cents per impression. yes it's making money but the volume is just too small...I've been scratching my head trying to find more targeted URLs and keywords...
^^^ I agree with topgun
I'll post asap how i got more and more related HIGH VOLUME URLs
Don't leave us hanging Dude.
Am not leaving the follow along buddy
Its just that I've been struggling to get more traffic targeting the competition ( unless am really crazy to pay like 0.3 / view for a 1.4 payout offer ). Anyway i got some conversions here and there, profitable overall with 100 % ROI for on offer and the other offer doing 20 % ROI ( very little data btw ). I'll try to scale from here and see how it goes cus i believe i can reach 30 / day maybe 50 / day if i target the competition only and its gonna take sometime to get there so I'll just setup more angles from here.
Stats:
Spent: 15 ( spending like 5 / day which is not good since am using a ton of URL variations )
Revenue: 30 ( one offer doing 110 % ROI and the other doing 20 % ROI )
I fee I still need more data before i decide which one to stick with so I'll split test both of them with every single angle am using and see how things goes.
I'll post the next set of campaigns and angles within an hour or maybe 2

Hey, glad your not leaving us.
I know you said you were direct linking earlier. Did you add landing pages or were all these conversions with direct linking only.
just direct linking so far but I'll be posting more landing pages very soon and use angles to get more traffic cus honestly i didn't start this follow along to spend and generate 5 - 10 bucks / day so I'll keep scaling and scaling as much as i can. I was going to post some lps yesterday but i decided to do more research and make sure I'm doing my homework right.
Aabdel,
This is awesome. Good news since I am using LI as well.
Thx buddy I'll post my new set of lps and campaigns very soon
any update buddy?
Very Soon buddy, just been working on the ( TOP SECRET MASTERMIND GROUP
) for sometime and will get on the follow along again like a boss

@aabdelfataha: Enjoying this a lot. However, as a newbie to Self Targeting, I got lost in your explanation! Would someone kindly put an explanation together that a child of 10 could understand?
I would be right in saying that, Bait and Switch, is where you initially have it pointing to one offer and once it is approved you switch to the real offer?
Thanks guys and gals!
Bait and switch can be done a couple of ways theoretically. The simplest, and least effective is to plug in one link with your creative to get approved and then switch it out for your real link after approval. This has several drawbacks, 1 BIG one is most networks nowadays won't allow you to swap links on approved creatives. 2 If the network actually decides to take a look at the URL you're approved on and the one you're running is different they can "retro" deny your creative. That happened alot on Facebook until FB stopped allowing links to be switched. There are other ways around it. The most effective, IMO, is with PHP. You can leave can have a simple php script as your URL domain target that you get approved. Then inside the php file you code some if then statements to say once the campaign is approved you include your real target URL and prior to approval you simply include a benign one. You do this because your target URL on the network stays exactly the same. The switch happens server side that the network can't see. Then getting even more sophisticated you can add code to block useragents, and or IPs to further guarantee you staying safe. This isn't the coding section so I won't get into too great depth. Needless to say, the scripts are out there, or you could just do some php research on your own.
@jimcrim: Thanks for that. I thought a PHP solution would be it as I am currently looking to run a PHP script for Geo Redirects and that could be used for the Bait and Switch.
But what is Self Targeting? Or did you just explain that?
