Quick Traffic Junky question

Hey guys,

I am in the process of setting up my first traffic junky campaign and i was wondering if they have their own tracking pixel? if so where do i find it? I am hoping it is like PoF where i put my TP into 202, then the 202 pixel in to my aff network.

Cheers guys

Jim

Nope they don't , you have to use an externam tracking program like P202 and pass the banner name as the keyword.

You can pass the website/placement.

Here's the code: {src_hostname}
This is a token for exoclick, didn't know it was for trafficjunky also? I contacted them a while back and they told me that they didn't have any dynamic tokens at all.

I have a quick question too. I am buying the pornhub space. Is footer 300*250 at 0.030 better or is video A at 0.18 better

Can I use this thread for few other quick questions ?

If I'm bidding high and I'm the best bidder, am I going to pay 1 cent over the 2nd bidder (just like sitescout's RTB) ?

You pay exactly what you bid!

Nah you'll have to wait until Monday, they start work at 10am EST but don't expect your ads to be approved for a good few hours after. My advise is to forget about that campaign until Tuesday when you have some nice data to look at!

Do you find TJ's Frequency Cap to be trustworthy and reliable ?
Even if i set it to "2 times every 720 hours" i have a plummeting CTR after 2 days

What's your typical CTR in TrafficJunky's footers ?

My footers' CTR is going from 0.03% to 0.09% , what do you think ?

thought TJ just made a big announcement with tracking etc.

i got this from TJ this week

We will be launching a new feature today that will change how you work on TrafficJunky: Auto-Optimization.

With auto-optimization, a sale, a click, or any action you choose can be used to decide how much traffic is served to ads in a campaign. Ads with the lowest cost per action automatically have their ad weight increased displaying them more frequently and lowering your overall campaign CPA.

You choose which actions to optimize a campaign by with pixel tracking. Pixel tracking lets you track steps in your sales pipeline by adding an invisible pixel tracker on important pages like on the landing page, sign up page, or sign up confirmation page. Each pixel is assigned a value number that represents the relative value of the action to a sale. The pixels report back to the tracker along with the value number and ads with lower CPAs are favored over ads with higher CPAs via constant automation of ad-weight settings. A week’s worth of data is used to assign optimized ad weight values.

With the first version of Auto-Optimization launched today you’ll be able to optimize an ad based on one pixel tracker which would be best used on the sales confirmation page.
