HI Guys
Just wondering if any of you guys rotate network offers per successful campaigns? In another words when you run a successful Facebook, display or PPC campaign, do you guys rotate the same offers thru different networks just to be sure you get the most accurate tracking. I am running a CPS offer and have found discrepancies on tracking when it comes to various Networks. I know its a little safer for CPS offers but for security would you always recommend rotation of network offers?
Yo Bud!
For sure, if you have a successful campaign it always pays to trial the same offer across a few networks, even if the payout ranges. Sometimes the results will shock you, was having a chat the other day with mr green, split tested the same offer, one network 1.70, the other 2.50.. same revenue from an equal split test. Crazy aye!
I split tested an CPS offer with 2 networks on Facebook. ctr of 0.38% one was converting and the other was not. Called the network on the one not converting and rep told him he did a test run and it appears the credit card tests they did themselves did not track. Unbelievable. Lesson to everyone, no matter how much you like your rep make sure you split test everything offer with 2-3 networks. Especially lead gen.
you can do sales with facebook? /me jealous at your awesomeness! I hate FB! Can you still write the most raunchy sexy filled ad copy as long as your not advertising in English? or did they hire some interns who speak foreign languages yet?
I've had the same offer convert at 3% on one network and 25% on another network using identical traffic, creatives, time of day/week, and tracking.
Test it.
Depends on if the network is brokering or direct to the deal. If you're brokering an offer from another network you are going to have some dropoff. Trust me, I know first hand. Doesn't matter if you have the best relationship or the highest payout, if you broker the deal you will have conversions drop off.
It's always good to work with a bunch of networks to split test, I've seen MASSIVE differences when I've changed between networks before.
