I just wanted to show you that with the right angle and some extra value you can take some % of a market even when you have competition like big brands in some big markets.
Enjoy
...
PS: take time to look at the video.

I'm remember this. Their video blew up on reddit awhile ago and their shared hosting couldn't keep up.

Volume? Haha probably not.
They have several blades available. I'm sure that it's the old marketing trick of having a low priced budget option that makes the others look like a steal. The highest priced is $9/mo and that looks much nicer.
Since customers are saving so much on the razor itself, they are also more likely to spend on post-shave creams and their other options and get them all in a convenient package.

^ Like a clickbank guru product, the front-end is to break even and the profit is made on the upsells

This.
Although, even if they run at breakeven overall, the big money will be made when they sell out I believe. Having a customer base of say 1M active users with valid credit cards in the system and monthly transactions is extremely valuable. They'll eventually get acquired by a big company that knows how to monetize that sweet list better than they do.

Mike (The CEO and guy in videos) is located here in So Cal. I was lucky enough to meet him at a Christmas party last year and guess what....he is just like us. A digital marketer, who had a unique outlook on how to take his skill set to the brick and mortar, hard product world and turn it upside down, into a unique subscription model that just flat out WORKS.

If I recall correctly, he's also done some standup comedy in the past, which will have helped a lot in producing videos in that unique style.

I've always wondered how much it works?
Any insights on potential rev/profit?
