I just ran a query against the affiliateplex cloaker IP list and my own database.
Ive generated $16,410.80 from 488 leads from users that have an IP address in that list, its less than 1% of total revenue but its still a large chunk of change and just shows how BS that IP list actually is.
Ive also cross referenced those converted users in that IP list with the premium ISP and organization databases available here http://www.maxmind.com/app/isp, a lot of my leads ($5893.80 worth) came from AOL ip addresses which are in that list, I think AOL proxies most of its users, if you IP ban a AOL user you could potentially be banning 100's or even 1000's of IP's.
I *think* someone has seeded the affiliateplex database with BS IP list addresses, to give you an example of how easy this would be, if you loaded this URL
http://fb.affiliateplex.com/track?ip...L, like Gecko)
the IP address 88.88.88.88 will be in the fbcloaker.txt list tomorrow morning and seeded to everyone who is using the affiliateplex cloaker and cron download.
Now this is only a small % of my total converting users so you might that its a good enough compromise but my suggestion would be to at-least take out the AOL ip addresses.
Here are some screenshots.

Haha shit man this is awesome, great findings. Lol at selling rebills to the US department of defense.
Hahahahahahaha thats sick brother! Entertaining share
what i'm wondering is why facebook is outsourcing ad reviews to the dod.
This is hilarious.
I swear at some point I was looking over the affliateplex cloaker code and noticed there was an error that was adding good ip addresses. All it takes is someone to screw up modifying their code and the whole db is screwed.
Great post!
Reducing false positives is as important as perfecting the correct traffic a cloaker filters out.
This shows just how important!
People seed this list.....i've watched the list grow sometimes by 1000's of ips in a very short time....
not to mention the fact fb is aware of this script and they can easily watch what your blocking.....kinda defeats the whole idea of a cloaker in the first place....
I wouldn't be surprised if facebook seeded the list just to screw with affiliates.
