get started. test some things. report back.

Definitely setup on a CDN if you're going to do much volume. If you don't know what a CDN is (content delivery network). google it or search the forums. kinda key.

Yes i have a CDN account and a VPS. I'm not a total newbie but I've only promoted ringtones and dating in the last year.

I'm undecided about collecting emails first or not. I need your opinion about this. In the first case I also need to decide how I should use these email addresses: Creating a squeeze page and collect emails (sending a lot of offers in a small timeframe) or outsourcing some articles/reviews and keep growing the list for a long time ?

Deciding whether to collect email addresses or not is a decision that should be part of your strategy.

Before getting to that point you should probably test that the offer converts or not.
I do this by initially direct linking to the sales page to gauge the interest in the product being promoted.

Then if there is sufficient interest build a landing page and decide if collecting email addresses should be part of the strategy or not.

Hi Dario,

I'm going to implement something close to what you plan to do.
On my end, I'm focused on a specific vertical, I created a set of generic squeeze pages appealing to my target and then they're going to receive a 12 months follow-up sequence with multiple products available in this market

I know everyone bangs on about CDNs and I do use them on a few campaigns of mine but I ran a split test on my PPV credit report campaign and after about 20,000 views on each page I actually had a higher conversion rate on the page that wasn't using the CDN. I'm not saying that is the same for all but data doesn't lie....

Never thought of running a split test of 2 same exact LPs with and without CDN, that's one of today's tasks for sure

^^ I did the same thing, only once. Tested CDN vs no CDN and the non-CDN page made more money at the end of the day. Not saying CDN is a bad idea, just saying the results of my test.
