Anyone else noticing that traffic has slowed down for your initial testing on Jumptap?
Only a few weeks ago I would test offers with broad targeting (US, all android phones, 3-5 carriers, site-traffic - CPC bid $0.11), and traffic would come in super fast. Even with low/average CTRs. That's not the case anymore, even with app traffic and good CTR ads I'm having a hard time spending $50 day.
Almost like the competition sky-rocketed.
Anyone else?
It could be your bid is too low or the site ids (placements) have been bought up for traffic. That's what has happened to me before there.
ask your rep for advice?
It depends on your offer. If its dating, then yes.
A LOT of their pubs blocked dating recently since they've been so slack on approving serious cleavage.
If you are concerned about volume - go CPM to see how much volume is available especially if you have solid CTR's
@groomez - yeah bid is to low, but was not a while back, just trying to see if more people are seeing the same.
@blackberry - Yes, waiting for reply.
@deondup - Really? To my understanding most of them are not blocking the dating vertical entirely, just too sexy ads.
I asked my rep about this, he said that by using more uncontroversial ads they could be branded as "dating safe" and appear on more pubs. That was a while back, though.
And yeah it was dating offers I was testing. Will try the CPM route and see what happens.
Reviewers will either classify your ad as dating or non-dating. Pubs block dating or they don't. The ad itself has nothing to do with it (unless its adult).
Test this for yourself. Run any other offer to the same targeting and you will see a TON of traffic
Most of the reps don't really know too much - especially the new ones
