hi there
i confess i am a direct linker... but i think i have to broaden my mind
so here's my question:
how to you deal with (landing)pages that suck?
like for example a page with 20 fields to fill out and only 3 are required...
i was like... yeah, i make my own lander an copy/paste info from my e-mails then... silly, isn't it?
what's your approach?
cheers, ms.
slightly confused......
are you saying the offer has 20 fields?
esplain pls..
If you think a marchant's landing page sucks, so will the traffic you herd towards it. Find another offer.
Give us some more info and we can help. If you are just direct linking then rotate another offer in. If it is your page, remove the other fields? Let us know
hi polarbacon
the form on the original page/sales page/offer page contains the following fields:
title, name*, surname*, sex, address1, address2, zip, city, state, email*, phone (office), phone (home), mobile, birthday, newsletter y/n, TOS
required fields (to generate a valid lead) are:
name, surname, email
the rest of the fields are just bullshit. they are not used to complete a lead.
sorry if i can't make myself clear... the problem is that the owner of the page has no idea about landing pages, usability etc. but he has a great affiliate offer.
i thought i could make my own lander with my own sales pitch and the 3 required fields to fill out and then copy/paste the "leads" into the form of the "original page".
The 'Host and Post' method you mention is usually by special arrangemment with the network running the CPA offer. Careful you don't get slapped.
Meanwhile, more power to you!
