Domains based on offers? (3)
Reading through the 40 day guide and came across this.
1. Think of 2 or 3 common words describing the offer
2. Search for those terms in google
3. See what sites show up in the top ads & top search rankings.
4. Pick 1 or 2 domains based on those sites
5. Use Google Website Trends to see whether there is traffic
Let's say I pick "online dating" and Plenty of Fish comes up as one of the sites in the results for that keyword. What does step 4 mean when it says pick 1 or 2 domains based on those sites? Am I going to buy some domains related to it or what? I feel like I am missing something obvious, but this IS the Newbie's Q&A.

It means that e.g. you see POF.com, benaughty.com, mate1.com etc in the Google result pages, you should pick 1-2 and see if there is any traffic to those sites via Google Website Trends.
