Just started my first facebook campaign and a have a question about my conversion rate and whether or not I should try and tweak the campaign or just scrap it and go with another angle. I have had 8 conversions on 58 clicks. This is just a simple cpa, fill out some information, type conversion.
I dont have the greatest CTR right now so my CPC is making it difficult to make the campaign profitable. Do you think that conversion rate is high enough for that type of offer to try and get my CPC down with different ads and images? Or is the offer not worth pursuing? Any information would be greatly appreciated.
Sounds like a great offer. Try going with an angle that will yield a higher CTR.
It looks like it might have potential. One thing that I like to do that I've seen boost the c/v by itself is to create a sense of urgency. For example at the end of your ad copy, put "Offer ends in 6 hours." Just something like that could have a pretty substantial effect. So you have a couple options.
- You can get your conversion rate up. Do this by different targeting, adcopy, etc. Remember different ad copies are going to attract people with different intentions. Some of which will lower your cvr.
- Get a lower CPC . Again experimenting with targeting , adcopy (CTR), and bidding strategy.
Testing takes a lot of time and can get monotonous , but to find the sweet spots you've got to put in the work. You may test 20 ad copies that suck and the 21st converts like crazy. Good Luck!

Thanks for the replies. Yeah I think I'm going to give it another shot with some different adcopy and images. I think it might have some potential it I can get my cpc down to a profitable level.
Are you doing it with a lander or just DirectLink?
8 conversions out of 58 clicks sounds like it has a lot of potential to me!
I would test a dozen of new images to get your ctr up , split test some landers including the tip from aplchian and split up the age groups to get your cr up (if you havnt already done that)
Peterb thanks for the tips. I stopped the campaign and havent gotten back to it, but with your and aplchian suggestions i will give it another shot to see if i can make it profitable. I was just direct linking so I will have to get the landers done. I have never done landing pages before so hopefully it will go well.
