After a lot of programming and testing , finally the long awaited STM mobile tracker is here.

Note : Please don't share it outside of STM , this is a gift for our loyal members ( if you share it , remember we have your home address info, and an army of STM martyrs based on every continent ... )

FAQ :

Should I worry about load times?

No , this is a self-hosted tracker , so if you have load time problems , you just upgrade your server and you are done. That's the beauty of self hosted!

Should I worry about privacy?

No , this is self-hosted and 100% open source. If you don't trust us , go on and check the code.

Is this going to make me millions of dollars ?

Yes , a hundred percent guaranteed!

11/14/2012 - V 2.0 Released.

New features Added :

1 - Redirect rules added. Now you can redirect traffic based on the carrier / os / model / handset.

2 - Added c1-c8 expanded to c1-c12. This means now you can pass easily all the extra info from the affiliate networks.

3 - Redirects are up to 3x faster due to adding caching on model / handset detection

4 - Improved offer rotation / reporting & sorting on group overview tab.

I hate you Besmir. You are so "thanks" greedy.

For people thinking about download it...I've been using this tracker for my large campaigns. It holds shit down like a bawse. It's also nice for optimizing, I've seen improvements of 120% ROI based off some of the data the STM tracker has given me.

I want to ask what is the best way to track my static LP , I am using CDN to host my LP , and its impossible to use the PHP script what i should use instead?

If you use something like MaxCDN , you can still use the PHP code.

Otherwise you can still use the js code , but is less accurate.

I am using Amazon Cloudfront you know if its possible ?
And also i want to ask if its possible to know from which Site ID come the conversion, I will send the Site ID value to the LP and then i will send the user to the offer page ?

Not sure about Amazon Cloudfront.

As for the site id , you can just pass it as the t202kw and you will be able to breakdown stats by site id / carrier / model etc.

Ok, I've read the documentation.
It seems very easy to install.

Sorry for asking this technical question, but can you tell me if I can overwrite the files on an existing p202 domain (everything but config.php of course) with these files, or if I need to start from scratch a new prosper installation on a new domain?

Could we have more "C" variables? Prefer something up to 10, I would like to track more than C1-C4 with ad network like Tapit!. I think it won't be too hard to add a few more C variables to use? C1 until C10 is nice if this could be done.

It's a bit more complicated than that because you would have to patch the database. Installing fresh is a better option.

The tracker isn't going to do this automatically for you. You'll need to put some PHP code on your lander to make it work.

Use this to grab the value of the variable from the URL:

And then this to pass it along in your outbound link to the Affiliate Network:

And be sure your lander is a .php file.

Anyone know of a way to implement Google's conversion tracking with this mobile P202 tracker? When I try to add the javascript in Prosper under Traffic Source > Pixel it just generates an error.

I would love to be able to fire the Google conversion code as well so I can have the data in AdWords and view conversions at the app/site level.

Any ideas??

Hmmm could you embed it in an iframe instead? E.g. iframe source = some php/html file that just contains the GA code inside?

LOL. Add an iframe pixel with source = http://somedomain.com/gatrack.html in tracking202. I'm pretty sure you just put the source URL rather than with all the iframe tags.

Then upload an html file called gatrack.html to whatever place you want it, then inside that file have something like:

Read through guides for prosper and try setting it up yourselve. Make test clicks, see if it works or not. If not, come back to the forum and as for support, a lot of people will guide you. Thing is, as long as you don't get that 'aha' effect setting it up to work yourselve, you'll have a very hard time setting up campaigns in bulk which is what you'll have to do sooner or later

It should be already there in that zip file , on the main directory after you unzip.

Just wonder how do you guys recommend to keep an up-to-date model and OS versions ? I have been using STM version 1 and noticed most of the recently launched are not showing up (i.e. samsung galaxy S III) and all of these traffic are sum into either 'Android' or 'SDK' model, it was only able to segment out after a manual update of (http://sourceforge.net/projects/wurfl/files/WURFL/), but still there are a bunch of models not identified.

A more comprehensive list of models and OS versions in the reports are going to help a lot.

Will getting a paid version from (http://www.scientiamobile.com/) helps ?

Will the Geolite database work for this tracker? I'm not really interested right now in Geolocation, I just wanted a nice,fast tracker for my first mobile campaigns. I've been direct linking from the LP , but I want the full tracking solution.

Brock the installation went great. On a Fresh install. The only problem is GEO script. I installed it just like the guide and purchased maxminds GEO IP database. Is there something I am missing or should double check. Because in my spy view or visitor view GEO or location data is not listed.

I uploaded from the maxmind to the GeoIPOrg.dat file in the 3rdparties/
geoip folder in my prosper install. Per instruction. Where do I go to check and see if it is working, no GEO location info is displaying anywhere.

Yes. It's essentially p202 with additional mobile detection capabilities.

There's no issues with running desktop through it as well.
